We spent bought the preferred seating ($130 or so per person) and it wasn't as good as we had hoped. It started raining halfway through the meal and they did give us ponchos, but by the end of dinner the table was soaked! (The show is after dinner.) The food was average, everything was cold. They had things like fried... More

Pretty average food. Lots of drinks, and the kids age 7 and 10 enjoyed the show. Certainly not up here with the best but ok value. It is ridiculous though that they make people stand out in a big line up looking at empty tables. This is not a good first impression at all.

So the people at the Luau were super nice and waitstaff were great. However... It did start raining and we were offered ponchos. No biggie but why would you pay 100$ a person for sub-par food and eat in the rain? Even if it didn't rain, still not worth it unless you are going to drink like a fish! The... More

Aloha soragamii, Thank you for your feedback. The unusual amount of rain this season has definitely been a challenge at the luau, but on the other hand is good for the health of our beloved Maui. Thank you for giving us a try and glad to hear you got a refund. Hopefully you can visit again and attend on a... More

We were staying at the Hyatt and have tried a few other luaus around the area so decided to try this one. I thought the food was really good, the show was alright, not one of our favorites. It I would go back again. The wait staff keeps the complimentary drinks going and I think I tried all the mixed... More

My opinion don't splurge for the VIP seating - it may be too close and gets you an upgraded lei but not worth the extra dollars. Premium seating was excellent. Great authentic food, wonderful emcee, excellent dancing and entertainment. Free drinks to the serious dancing begins, they give a warning call. Attentive servers. A wonderful family experience we had 9,... More

We had so much fun! We went with my parents for their anniversary and had a great time! The food was awesome! Service was great! The show was very entertaining! My Dad ended up as a participant near the end of the show and it was hilarious! My only complaint was that there was no shade for the general seating... More

After researching most of the Lu’au shows I decided to pick the more dramatic Hyatt luau because it features dances from many of the pacific islands, is less serious than the Old Lahaina Luau and ends with wild fire dancing. All of the shows are pretty pricey, this one is one of the most expensive at $95 for general seating.... More

This is a classy luau - excellent food, wonderful service and a most enjoyable show. Our family of four (including a teen and a pre-teen) really enjoyed it. We highly recommend it.

We went with our family of 5 and decided on the VIP seats. We were seated in the front row but off to the far left of the stage.( I suppose if you get there way early, you could have a chance to get a front and center table) One of the reasons we got VIP was so we weren't... More
