We had high hopes for this show but were very disappointed. The food was sub par and we had to wait until almost everyone had eaten before we could even go up. The tables are set up very tight with very little room between each person at the table. The drinks available tasted bad and the bar closed when the... More

Our family of eight attended the Drums Luau in July, 2015. We all had a great time! It is expensive, but all luaus in Maui are pricey. The service was good, drinks were terrific, and food was average. It is a little impersonal, sometimes mechanical, as it is apparent they deal with the crowds exactly the same every night as... Our final night on Maui ended with a truly great lu'au! A lu'au is a must-do event when you visit Hawaii, and the Drums of the Pacific was wonderful! The food is typical and nothing to get overly excited about, but the show was fantastic!!! The performers are truly talented, we definitely learned more about the Polynesian culture and thoroughly... This was my first luau, so I have no other references for it. We won a free ticket through an Expedia session, so that definitely made the choice of which luau to attend easier. There are three levels of seating, VIP (currently $145), Preferred($125) and General ($95). VIP seats are reserved and get you a flower lei, Preferred guest received... More

I guess when you visit Hawaii you have to go to a Lu'au. The Drums of the Pacific is a nice event, the food is ok and the open bar serves whatever you want. 3 h entertaining for $95 per person, you have to figure out for yourself if it is worth it.

Pork was great. Open bar. Fire guys were fun to watch. I picture a luau on grass and on the beach. This was on a concrete area with a bunch of tables and lots of people. Kids had fun though.

Great show, food was OK, a little expensive, but worth the money spent. Good evening entertainment with the family.

I don't write reviews often, but this place was so god awful I just had to. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Very subpar food and beverage. Performance was embarrassing, my kids were falling asleep. Our server disappeared after 45 minutes not to be seen again, claiming he was "taking a break required by the union". Overall experience was awful,... More

Aloha tikkababc, it's very disappointing to read your comments. I'm hoping you received my private message and are able to find the time to contact me. There is no union rule regarding required breaks during service. It would be appreciated if you would contact us and provide more information on your evening.
