We booked this Lu'au at the Hyatt well before our trip to make sure we got the seating we wanted. Since we were celebrating our daughter's graduation, we sprung for the VIP seats up front. Honestly, if you want to save a little money, the preferred seating would have been great, too. The general seating might land you in the... More

We loved this luau. The food was plentiful and tasty. There was a pretty good selection of drinks, including beer, wine, mixed drinks and fruit punch. The waiter was friendly and efficient and getting refills was quick. The show was highly entertaining. We had the premium seating which was well worth the price in order to get in sooner and... This luau is first rate through and through. It's definitely a first class operation from beginning to end. Organized and thoroughly entertaining. Every individual of this show is a standout: the wait staff, musicians, dancers, singers, MC...the food was enjoyable and we appreciated the variety of local Hawaiian fare provided. The description of each dance style in the brochure made... More

We went to this luau on 25 Jun '15. I've been to two other luau's and this one was every bit as good as those. This was the first time my daughter and her family went to a luau and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Mike was our server and he did a great job with our drink orders and food... More

This luau would have gotten 5 stars except for the seating misguidance! When I called to inquire about tickets I was told that there were 3 categories - VIP, Preferred and General. VIP was the first row, Preferred was the second and then General. I didn't realize that it meant the first row of tables placed perpendicular to the stage.... More

The luau was our favorite entertainment. We did go for the VIP tickets and loved sitting closer to the action, so it was worth it to us. If you get there early enough though, the other seats were probably fine. Loved that there was an open bar :-) Enjoyed the family style seating and liked talking to all the people... More

Aloha Angela O, Sounds like your experience at our Drums luau is exactly what we strive to provide! Nice to hear that you enjoyed meeting new people at the table, as that is part of the experience at a luau. Hope you can join us again sometime! Mahalo for the post. More

This luau is from about 5:30p to 8:30p. The cheapest "seats" are about $95pp. We were guests at the Hyatt and the confirmation said we would get a free gift with our luau purchase but we actually didn't. The check in process is confusing. Don't go to the VIP line if you're not VIP! You need to walk around the... More

My Family and I have gone to this luau 5 times at different times (we've been coming to maui for the last 10 years) and this particular time it was different. In the pass it was too long and the show dragged on with certain scenes and seemed boring. This time it was fun with audiences participation and added 3... More

Our server Joe was a rock star. Friendly, helpful, I saw him take care of an older couple with dignity and respect. Nice to see. Food was very good, the show was amazing. Great overall family experience. I would recommend to my friends.
