The pig spent the day, roasting in a pit, soon to become the main attraction at dinner. The sun finally gives way to the moon and the darkness sets the mood. It's show time! This is a worthwhile outing, no regrets; food is okay, musicians are talented, dance routines go off without a problem, and the Master of Ceremonies is... More

So lu'aus are certainly a thing to do when in Hawaii. I don't really know how to choose which luau to go to since many of the hotels have them and there is the general theme among them all - good show, average food. We chose the Hyatt since my wife went there during a previous visit. I would say... More

I was a little skeptical at first but we were amazed. The food was great. The entertainment was even better. Loved the show and unlimited drinks from the open bar, well worth the price. So glad we chose this luau over the others

We were in the preferred seating which was basically the middle section. After paying roughly $135 a head we were looking to a great meal with a nice show but were very disappointed what we were presented. Not only was the food disgusting but we had to wait in a line to get it. Their was a salad with only... More

This was our first luau and overall we enjoyed it. We sprung for the VIP tickets and I would say that it was worth the extra cost to get to skip the general admission line, have seating in the front, and get up for food first. The food was better than I expected, given the mixed reviews. Not fancy, but... More

Aloha pmoed, Thank you for taking the time to post. We appreciate the feedback and glad to hear you enjoyed the evening. I will relay the comments on the lagtime between dinner and show. I know they like to give enough time for everyone to stretch their legs and get desert and coffee. Maybe it can be shortened some. Mahalo!... More

I've been to many as a former concierge but the Hyatt was always my favorite. Yes it may be "cheesy" to some but its the location, ambiance, and the drums. I hosted many friends and family at this event and recommend it to all. The staff is great and the views at sunset from the Sunset Terrace are wonderful. My... More
