I have gone on this tour three times now and it is one of the main reasons I keep going back to Maui for vacation! I have heard they recently changed management, is the previous Owner still working for them? He was hilarious!!

This was by far the best thing we did during our whole trip! Captain Dave was hilarious! Bring your sun screen, towel and your sense of humor. Captain Dave provides the rest. Breakfast and lunch with beverage all day. On board toilet was nice. This will be something that we will never forget and can't wait to do again!

Most fun activity we have done on maui, we have gone on this 3 times over the last two year. Three snorkel stops, but the best part is the trip to back side of Lanai, he also added a "hike" into a great cave this year.

This year, finally the grand kids were old enough to experience this fabulous activity in Maui , I was unable to make reservation, asked around, it seems that captain Dave just stopped, sold his boat? How sad, it was truly a great experience with for a change someone who was not afraid to push the envelope with his boat, he... More

I actually went in April of 2010 and Loved every single second of the trip on the Lanakila. The first trip I took, captain Dave was not aboard and I'm sorry to say I forget our captain's name but he was fun and made us laugh constantly. The snorkeling was phenomenal! The areas the Lanakila travel are so crystal clear... More

We have been on this trip 7 times, twice each time we are on the island which is every other year. We have taken my daughter beginning at age 6 and have taken my grandmother who was in her 80s. All of us have had a great time each and every time we go. I sometimes get sea sick but... More

Booked a 5 hour snorkelling boat tour around Lanei Island (just out of Lahaina bay) through my accomodation. Was advised to sit at the back of the boat for least amount of motion and to maximize sunrays after snorkelling. Great advice as the seas had up to 15' swells. I actually really enjoyed the ride as the captain (Crazy Dave)... More

My cousin and I went with Captain Dave and Eli on Friday, and in spite of the high winds and rough water on the way back in we had a great time. These guys were recommended to us by locals, and they did not disappoint...they were just great!! It really felt like we spent the day with friends, and I... More
