We stopped by for two hours following a whale watching expedition. There is a nice whaling Museum upstairs and also some nice shops to go around and a Subway and pizza restaurant as well as the more up market restaurants right on the water. The whaling Museum will validate your parking ticket.

There are a few interesting stores and a great free hula show but also several empty store fronts. Great potential to be a destination but falls short.

this is a great small mall for shopping in Maui. We needed a few things and found all and more there by the ocean. We also found a few fun things we just couldn't live without.

4 star My wife and I spent the day at Whalers Village. It is a beautiful quaint upscale area. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and bars with so many wonderful waterfront views. It is a nice open-air mall that is somewhat eclectic from independent stores, kiosks, and native Hawaiian fare to Sephora, Coach, and Louis Vuitton. Originally built in 1970, it... More

this is not a must stop because while the sopping was really good, there are other really good shopping area. BUT, if you are in Lahiana and especially if you are going to Ka'anapali Beach, I strongly recommend stopping in the Whaler's village for ding n and shopping

Whalers Village is a great asset to Lahaina. Its location is ideal for all the resorts that are on either side of the Village. We stayed at Honua Kai so it was a 40 minute walk or a five minute taxi ride. Otherwise we did catch the local bus for $2 each. Any of the buses heading to Napili will... More

I am not sure what I was expecting, but this mall is advertised as an attraction because the whaler's museum is located on the property. While that is a plus, the shopping was adequate at best and the parking was pricey at $3 per half hour.

There are some very high price shops in this complex. Spiced within are the run of the mill stores that you see throughout the islands. ABC, Crazy Shirts, etc. It is beautiful when you get to the seaside part of the area below the shops where there is a beach which is also very nice but can be very crowded.... More

If you are staying at a resort in Ka'anapali and have already enjoyed the gorgeous beach here, the view from this mall will not over excite you. If you are staying in a different location, you should visit if only for the view. This mall is a HIGH end mall littered with restaurants and boutiques. Louis Vuitton has a prominent... More

Kaanapali Beach is a strip of wonderful hotels on the best beach on Maui. Being on the beach usually means that you have few if any places to eat. Not so at Kaanapali Beach. At the center of the string of hotels is a very nice shopping center with two medium priced restaurants, three fast food establishments and places to... More
