It's definjtely not a cheap place to shop but it's right on the beach in Hawaii so what do you expect? But it's really nice and clean and has a lot of great shops and restaurants!

Whalers village is a nice upscale type shopping center. Lots to choose from and great places to eat as well. Right on the ocean in some spots. Short walk from our resort.

Well designed, great location, good selection of stores - but quite pricey! Don't go there for essentials (Visit Front St. in Lahaina first).

We found this mall to be very convenient as we were staying at The Whaler. We could walk over and grab what we needed for our condo from the ABC store or have dinner. There is a good selection of stores.

Fun strolling the stores before or after dinner. Make sure that you get parking validation if you eat dinner in one of the restaurants - it will be free parking. Otherwise the parking is EXPENSIVE! Lots of higher end shops and two levels of stores. Free entertainment in the lower portion nightly which is fun to watch. Stroll along the... More

This is a small plaza with a combination of stops you can find anywhere and shops selling local items. The majority of stores sell either tee-shirts or jewelry, but you can always head to the ABC Store if you forgot some basic like sunblock or an extra SD card.

My boyfriend and I vacationed in Maui, Hawaii in November 2014. While there, we visited Whaler's Village when we dined at the Hula Grill. It was located down the street from our hotel, which was convenient. There is free garage parking if you get your ticket validated at the restaurant and perhaps one of the store. We saw no other... There were numerous shops to visit and a few eating establishments, but this mall is nestled between the resorts and caters to tourists. Many of the shops were over priced and we even met a few snobby sales people in contrast to our overall feeling that tourists were treated warmly and with appreciation for their visit. The local ABC store... More

Nice little place located right in Kaanapali Beach. A few restaurants there. Awesome coffee place. Brand name shops at decent prices. Worth the walk if you're on the beach. Otherwise I wouldn't waste your time in Hawaii shopping. Visit the island damn you!

An excellent array of shops. Probably have to buy more luggage now. Loved the outdoor feel of it all though. Much nicer than being in a 'mall'. Well laid out. Always seating for the men who are the waiting patiently...well, most of them!!!!
