Small but Great variety

As far as malls go, Whaler's Village is small but there are just the right kinds of shops for a oceanfront setting. There is a good variety of restaurants nearby as well.

Eeh, not impressed. Whaler's Village is essentially an open-air mall on the beach. Mostly high-end designer shops, much in line with the touristy atmosphere of Ka'anapali district. Though I assume many would really like shopping at Michael Kors in their bare feet, I didn't come to Maui to shop. Hot and crowded.

It isn't cheap and the cute local vendors have been replaced by chain stores. The Hula Grill there is a great place to stop after a day of shopping.

We stopped here twice. The first night we had a little trouble finding a parking spot. Attendant told us to go to the top level. Next day we did the same. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated. Some shops are very expensive, while others like the ABC store have things that are reasonable. Walk along the beach is... More

This is an upscale open-air mall with many stores of interest and places to eat. The whaling museum is a small, self-guided, interesting place to discover this Hawaiian story, and by donating you can get 3 hours of parking validated.

We just stumbled across Whaler's Village and were pleasantly surprised - it's quite a large, well maintained, trendy little shopping village. There are eating and shopping options and a good vibe. Worth a visit if you're in this part of the world.

It's just a lovely place to walk around. The store windows are stunning. It's fun to window shop and people watch here. We stopped over a few times on a weeklong trip to Maui.

best thing to do is stop by the frozen yogurt place and get parking validated when you get a frozen yogurt... then check out the shops or people watch on the grass

If you're looking for local goods this may be your spot if you want to overpay - though I'd recommend just going to Front Street! This place has all the local establishments which crowd your malls back on the Mainland - Lululemon, Tommy Bahama's, Prada, Gucci, Oakley, PacSun and so on. If you're looking for local, go to HonoluluSurf Co... More

Overpriced shops and overpriced parking. I stayed 63 minutes and got charged $9 since it went into the third half hour. There was a person there on duty and he claimed he could not adjust it for me since it was automated. I doubt that. I did enjoy walking along the beach path though.
