My boyfriend and I vacationed in Maui, Hawaii in November 2014. While there, we visited Whaler's Village when we dined at the Hula Grill. It was located down the street from our hotel, which was convenient. There is free garage parking if you get your ticket validated at the restaurant and perhaps one of the store. We saw no other... There were numerous shops to visit and a few eating establishments, but this mall is nestled between the resorts and caters to tourists. Many of the shops were over priced and we even met a few snobby sales people in contrast to our overall feeling that tourists were treated warmly and with appreciation for their visit. The local ABC store... More

Nice little place located right in Kaanapali Beach. A few restaurants there. Awesome coffee place. Brand name shops at decent prices. Worth the walk if you're on the beach. Otherwise I wouldn't waste your time in Hawaii shopping. Visit the island damn you!

An excellent array of shops. Probably have to buy more luggage now. Loved the outdoor feel of it all though. Much nicer than being in a 'mall'. Well laid out. Always seating for the men who are the waiting patiently...well, most of them!!!!

Whalers Village has a variety of stores. Really something for everyone. A lot of jewelry stores, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Pandora, billabong, just to name a few. Then you have some nice restaurants to choose from with a perfect view of the beach/ocean. It really is a beautiful complex. Some cute boutiques mixed in as well. Parking validated for 3 hours.... High prices, tacky shops, so so dining. If you've never been. You should go at least once and honestly, the beach front restaurantd aren't bad and do have spectacular settings. Just remember this is a tourist trap so you'll pay top prices. That said, the kiosk folks do negotiate so have fun bargaining.

My husband and I were staying at the Marriott which is just a stroll down the beach Boardwalk from Whaler's Village. We wanted to check it out for possible gifts to take home and some interesting restaurants. We were not disappointed in finding both! We found many unique gifts for family and friends at the Totally Hawaiian Gift Gallery. The... More

A good collection of shops and restaurants. It is easy to see however that this shopping area was put together because of all the resorts in the area. Not a bad place but there is nothing there that screams Hawaii. Worth a visit for dinner and a bit of shopping.
