I am not a beach person so when I choose a beach to spend any amount of time it needs to be first rate. Napili Beach in West Maui is that beach for me. The generally calm blue waters with Lanai and Molokai in the background give me much needed peace and relaxation. The beach is clean and the surrounding... More

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Maui. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's a pretty narrow beach and it gets really crowded and it is very hard to get parking. Get there very early so you can park and get a spot on the beach.

Loved Napili beach! A great family beach! The sand is incredible. The water is perfect for swimming, bodysurfing, boogie boarding or stand up paddle boarding. The snorkeling is amazing - like swimming in an aquarium and if you take the path to the left over the rocks and around to this little bay tucked away surrounded by condos, you can... More

Everything from sun tanning to snorkeling can be done here. The beach is long enough to accommodate a large number of people, and the bay is large enough to accommodate just as many in the water. Snorkeling is good along the northern edge and the surf is gentle enough to let kids play in it without getting too beat up.... More

A nice, clean, sandy beach that served well for a fun day of snorkeling, boogie boarding and relaxing. There were lots of turtles meandering about in the surf. It was a little crowded and there were no public restrooms (that we could find). The closest food/beverage was at The Gazebo Restaurant located on the far end of the beach at... More

The beach itself is lovely and offers excellent snorkeling just off shore. We have seen several moray, turtles, moorish idols and other colorful reef fish within 100 yards of the beach.

A terrific trail to walk! Beautiful rocks with blue water crashing against. You can almost touch Molokai. Nature trail hike.

interesting to find your way to Napili beach,, nice beach, not as open and crowded as Ka'anapali,, and we were there In March so the Ocean was not as calm as later, when it probably becomes Lake Maui,, good for swimming/snorkeling.
