We love this beach bc it has amazing scenery but it can get very crowded. Try to go either early in the day or after 2. It is a beautiful and relaxing beach if you hit it at the right time

I felt like a seal on the beach. People would come in and just sit within inches of us. It is a nice beach with decent snorkeling but way too many people. We are staying 150 feet from this beach and are driving to other less crowded beaches with much better snorkeling.

This is a beautiful white-sand beach, but it is crowded, and parking can be hard to find. When we were here 2 years earlier the same week, we saw at least 8 large turtles that were just hanging out in the rocks near shore at the east end of the beach. We spent hours following them about. No such luck... More

it was a great little jaunt up from the Westin Ka'anaplali. Lots of great easy snorkeling for the kids with bathroom and easy access. Go early to get parking and ahead of the crowds.

Some of the best snorkeling on the island! We saw many sea turtles, and the amount of colorful fish in the bay was astounding. I snorkeled for an hour and a half and it felt like 10 minutes. No matter where you stay, make it a point to go there to snorkel.

This was our favorite beach in Maui, and a lot of the people we talked to seemed to agree. No watersports, no row of hotels, and no touristy restaurants like Kaanapali, this is just a nice little bay surrounded by palm trees. There are a few smaller resorts and one restaurant at the water's edge. The snorkeling was pretty good,... More

I stayed at a condo right on the beach, where I've stayed many times before. It is the perfect location! The beach was not too crowded, even though it was June and you cannot beat the snorkeling here. You can see turtles and wide variety of fish. Waves are gentle and it is a great place to play in the... More

Okay, but nothing to drive a distance for. Black Rocks a few miles south was much better snorkeling and has the 20 foot jump.

We spent 13 days on Maui, and spent the majority of our time checking out the beaches. Napili was definitely one of our favorites! It wasn't too crowded, and the snorkeling was great! Saw numerous turtles, even some up close to the beach so those people who were not snorkeling also saw them. Saw lots of colorful fish as well.... More
