Nice Walk on the Beach with Great Views

We walked on the beach after lunch. Found a local spot with many surfers riding the waves. Very relaxing to watch...

This little bay is very pretty, offering good swimming early in the day. Water is not so good later on and it gets packed. The sand is deep and soft, public access is marked, but most miss it.

Limited parking and get s crowded by 10 a.m. Spend your early morning here and it's great! After noon snorkeling visibility diminishes, and crowds of resort stayer's cover the beach.

Steep beach and busy with many families and children. Snorkeling was pretty good here but not as good as Kapulua. Not a large beach so can be crowded

Love the open air seating - old Maui feeling. Great brunch - sunset dinners. Overlooking the ocean - couldn't be better

Small nice beach. Saw numerous large turtles in the water. Everyone repected the turtles. Much different than the tourists at Kaanapli.

Stunningly beautiful! Beach, waves, lava rock with waves crashing on them, palm trees and pine trees, pretty good snorkeling, this is a tie with Hanalei Bay for my favorite place in Hawaii!

Good snorkeling on both North and South side. We only saw turtles on south side. Good place to swim or hang out on beach. Restaurant on north side is great for happy hour.

Found this beach on the map supplied by the Snorkel Shop, where we rented our gear. Has a lovely reef just off the shore, with lots of beautiful fish. We saw one big turtle, too. Easy to find, nice soft sand, beach is a bit steep. Besides snorkeling, people were enjoying sunbathing and boogie boarding. Will return.

Nice beach and views. A small stretch of sand though with not much space. Swim there is great. As with most beaches in Maui you need to pass the hotel/resort barriers to get there... just do it :)
