it was a great little jaunt up from the Westin Ka'anaplali. Lots of great easy snorkeling for the kids with bathroom and easy access. Go early to get parking and ahead of the crowds.

There isn't a sandy beach here, there's pebbles at one end. What there is however is fantastic snorkelling in a small bay. Comfortable size for those who dislike wide open areas, however it is worth noting it can get a little deep towards the opening of the bay but very much worth braving. You'll see a lot of turtles here... More

Some of the best snorkeling on the island! We saw many sea turtles, and the amount of colorful fish in the bay was astounding. I snorkeled for an hour and a half and it felt like 10 minutes. No matter where you stay, make it a point to go there to snorkel.

This was our favorite beach in Maui, and a lot of the people we talked to seemed to agree. No watersports, no row of hotels, and no touristy restaurants like Kaanapali, this is just a nice little bay surrounded by palm trees. There are a few smaller resorts and one restaurant at the water's edge. The snorkeling was pretty good,... More

I stayed at a condo right on the beach, where I've stayed many times before. It is the perfect location! The beach was not too crowded, even though it was June and you cannot beat the snorkeling here. You can see turtles and wide variety of fish. Waves are gentle and it is a great place to play in the... More

Okay, but nothing to drive a distance for. Black Rocks a few miles south was much better snorkeling and has the 20 foot jump.

We spent 13 days on Maui, and spent the majority of our time checking out the beaches. Napili was definitely one of our favorites! It wasn't too crowded, and the snorkeling was great! Saw numerous turtles, even some up close to the beach so those people who were not snorkeling also saw them. Saw lots of colorful fish as well.... More

Limited parking since it's a busy beach but people park all down the road sides. Lots of shady areas and gorgeous crystal clear water. You can snorkel here and see turtles! If you walk up to the cliff edges you will get great views and there are walking trails to see the coastline.

Easy parking and walk to the beach. Snorkel right off the back with sea turtles. They come in close enough for the little ones to see but don't touch!! Not safe for humans oild (on your hands etc) to be on their bodies - makes them vulernable to prey.
