This was OK since we were never on a submarine before and that is where it ends. Seeing the sunken ship was the highlight. You can see the same fish, eels, rays in color if you snorkel and take a tour with a boat with a glass bottom for those of you who don't. The colors of the fishes are... more

My husband and I had never been in a submarine before, so we decided to take the submarine tour. It was a little bit expensive, but we figured we would splurge. Having never been in a submarine before, it was defintiely neat to see the ocean floor, reefs, sunken ships, etc. We even saw a small shark swimming aorund one... more

My wife, 12 year old daughter, and I took Atlantis' submarine ride. We really had a blast doing this. I can't comment on how it compares to snorkeling since my snorkeling experience is very limited. My wife did the most snorkeling of the 3 of us (daughter was too nervous to try) and she felt the sub was worthwhile. So,... more

A waste of money. You get down to the bottom of the ocean and there's barely any coral and fish. The fish that are there are very tiny. The sunken ship was cool, but they go past it so quick that's only 2 minutes of the tour. We went on a snorkel boat trip to Molokini and that was WAY... more

This was by far the only thing we regretting doing in our trip to Hawaii. I wish I could reverse time and never book this. This attraction is a joke. We were shocked to see any good reviews. The submarine had big windows but the glass was blurry. You cant blame the water here, its crystal clear. The submarine only... more

If you want to pay the $90.00 per person just to say you've been on a submarine then go for it. Otherwise, there's not much to see. We were disappointed and would not do it again. more

We had a blast on the submarine. They load you up on a boat at Lahaina Harbor. Take you for a nice boat ride out to the submarine, so you get an awesome view of Maui from the water. You get loaded on the sub, which is actually quite comfortable. Each person has their own seat, porthole, and fish ID... more

This was an exciting tour, but I felt a little pricey. We saw tropical fish, a shark, and a sunken ship. I don't snorkel, so definitely something to do if you want to see tropical fish. I didn't feel cramped inside the submarine at all. They take you out on a boat first, then you load onto the submarine. Overall,... more

Our 13 year old daughter and I took the Atlantis Submarine trip at Lahaina and enjoyed it tremendously. It was a unique experience both in terms of what you can see and the whole experience of going down in a sub. The trip was not very long but it seemed enough. We saw a lot of fish and other creatures... more
