This was the second luau I've been to and it was great! The food was amazing and the options were endless. Open bar with very strong drinks. Fabulous service and an incredible show! The end of the night featured fire and everyone was in awe!

This was first class in every way. Fabulous food with an emphasis on Hawaiian- endless amounts. Great drinks of every kind - custom made to your liking no limit. Wonderful dancers doing Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian and Tongan - a cross-section of the Polynesian people and very well done and historically accurate with exquisite narration and songs - past and present... We really enjoyed the performance part of the show, but would have preferred to be able to buy tickets just for that and pass on dinner as we are gluten free and while the buffet was large, there were many things we couldn't eat so were limited to a few items and the ticket price was high for not being... My family of 8 attended this lu'au. We all had a really good time. The food was hot and tasted great. The show was really good as well. They had the grass skirt hula and fire dancers. My daughter even went on stage to do some hula as well.

Luau started with a huge line outside Royal Lahaina. We were asked to check in at 5:00 pm but the gates did not open till 6! So we had to wait in line for about an hour before getting in. Drinks were super sweet, so we stuck to beer. The bar service was good and not crowded. Also the food... More

Enjoyed every moment of it. The food drinks and entertainment well worth it. Called around and found this was one of the more economical. We had some rain, but it did noting to dampen the fun and entertainment.

First of all the main photo on this TripAdvisor listing is a photo of the "Old Lahaina Luau" so don't be confused. This luau takes place on the grounds of the Royal Lahaina resort in North Ka'anapali. The food here is very good, and the show is pretty good. I like the Old Lahaina Luau better, but this place is... There were luaus with better ratings, higher prices etc... but we wanted a cheese-factor for the kids to enjoy New Year's Eve, our last night in Maui and we were very pleasantly surprised with our choice. Too much standing in line (45min or so even with a reservation), but the food was pretty good and the entertainment was very good.... More

I was shocked at how awful of an experience this was, it was by far the low point of our trip. You are paying for an overpriced buffet and a short Hawaiian inspired diversion, while sitting in very uncomfortable folding plastic chairs. I kept thinking it would get better, but instead, the show ended after 30-40 minutes. I cannot stress... More

We had been to one other luau before this one, and this one blew the other out of the water. They went into a variety of cultural explanations and explained to the audience the significance of each dance. The dancers were incredible and very talented. The food was good, and the drinks were delicious.
