The show was fantastic! This was our first Luau and the show did not disappoint. The emcee was fabulous, the dancers amazing, music terrific and the finale of fire throwing spectacular. The view over the ocean simply stunning. Our table server did a great job of keeping our drinks full and was very friendly. Nice guy. So why 3 stars?... More

If you have never been to a luau you might be ok with this one but we live here and always take our guests to Old Lahaina Luau but they are usually booked 2-3 weeks in advance so I wasn't able to get that one. Royal Lahaina Luau was a disappointment from the time we arrived. There were 5 of... More

We had no idea this was going to be a 500+ people gathering! I must say it was very well organized (they do this every day!!!) and they just herded us nicely. It you are seated facing the beach, you will have the sun in the face until approximately 7:20PM so bring your sunglasses. The buffet was ok and again,... More

Decided on Myths of Maui. Excellent show, great food. Spend the extra money for VIP. It provides you personal attention, up close seating, first serving at buffet. Downside to this event is sitting in the blazing sun for an hour before the show starts. I would recommend umbrellas other wise prepare to bake.

Must say the grounds this luau is held at is in much need of tlc for one thing the gravel that is the ground for whole area is dusty and unsightly to say the least and adds to the increddible heat that could be lightened a bit by adding a sun screen of some sort for the comfort of guests,... More

This was our first time going to a luau. We paid for VIP tickets to skip the lines and for better seating. It was definitely worth it-we had a great view of the main stage. We got there a little too early and ended up waiting for a long time for things to start. None of the seating is in... More

Nice luau with good food. Tables are a bit crowded and you do share with other families. Also. It can be hot as you wait at your table in the sun for the luau to start until the sun begins to set. All in all a good night for the price.

My family and I went to the Royal Lahaina Luau in July 2015. The location of the venue couldn't be better, right on the beach with a spectacular sunset view overlooking the ocean! The food was prepared well and delicious. In fact, My teen son, had three plates of Kahula Pork!! Bartender Victor, made us feel like family from his... More

There was an IMU unveiling and the food was pretty good! Unfortunately, the waiter for our table came by, took drink orders but left my husband and I out. When he returned with drinks, we told him we had not ordered and he said sorry and proceeded to the next table and when my husband said "what about us", he... More

My family went to the luau and of course this a busy hotel so parking is always full. We had to park far from the luau area. The show was good and the food could use a little improving on the taste and favor. We left early and didn't watch the whole show, due to we had a busy day... More
