We booked our tickets through the hotel which is absolutely the way to go! We were staying at the Honua Kai and the Royal Lahaina Luau is walking distance. We stood in line for our tickets and they pulled us out to the front of the line and lead us in. We had our picture taken at the front and... More

We got the VIP package, it was worth it. We got to sit up close and we could see the performers so good. They put on an awesome performance. We got the fresh flower leis, a ceramic statue and a shell lei with the VIP. The food was VERY good.

Loved it. You should go to a luau when your in Hawaii and this is definitely a good one. Was fun enjoyable, and even with the threat of flash flooding it was really fun :D. Go if your in Lahaina or Kaanapali Beach well worth true money.

A lovely venue with a great location for a spectacular sunset. The staff were good but the food was a little disappointing. The entertainment was good with a history story of the hawaiian islands through dance.

I did not want to go to a luau. I hate cultural shows and "myths" when traveling. I have seen so many bad ones with bad food and really bad "shows". I did not know that luau is Hawaiian for "buffet"? Just like the ancient Polynesians we were treated to watered down MaiTais and tasteless roast pork and hotdogs...with patio... More

We had gone as a group and they had reserved a table for our group. We were reasonably close to both food and drinks, as well as the show. The food and drinks were quite good and plentiful. They are very well organized and called table by table for the food. Second helpings were encouraged. The show was well choreographed,... More

We didn't book early enough for the Old Lahaina Luau and because we wanted to do one on our first time to Hawaii, we ended up going to this one. If I'd done my homework, I think we might have booked elsewhere. Although the MC worked hard and was good and so was the fire dancer at the end, the... More

We bought our tickets online on their website and when we got there we were told we were VIPs. I'm assuming it is because of how I booked it. We got to go in the front of the lines and we got a real flower lei and a shell one as well. We sat front and center and got complimentary... More

This was our second Luau and as compared to the other one we went to several years ago, this one was much better. The food was very good for a buffet. The drinks that were included were very good quality, and they made non-alcoholic versions for the kids. They also had a keiki buffet- with foods most kids would gravitate... More

Roasted Pig was delicious, other sides were ok but nothing great. The show itself was great fun and the cast members were trying very hard and looked motivated and friendly. Definitely worth the extra 20 bucks each for better seats, it puts you right in the middle up front. Open bar was good and Mai Tai's hit the spot. The... More
