It's fun to see the large banyan tree, and Lahaina itself is a nice place to walk around, but I wouldn't come here just for the tree. If you want to visit a restaurant, walk near the pier, and buy some souvenirs, then the tree is worth a visit.

Wonderful little park under the Banyan tree in Lahaina. The tree itself is definitely worth seeing but there were also some local artists that were displaying their wares in this area as well. Its probably not worth a trip to see all by itself but if you are in Lahaina you should check it out.

Well it's free, you gotta love that!! It's really a cool sight...upon first look it just looks like a bunch of really cool trees....but look closer! The whole thing is connected by different roots and branches! It's really a unique tree! There are sometimes art shows to check out otherwise it's a best place to hang out. I'd always get... More

What a beautiful tree in a beautiful setting. We were there on the weekend when the artist market was open and had a chance to look at buy some lovely things. Spend some time at the market then walk around the city.

Art, shade, birds, we loved it all! For locals and tourists this overstretching block-wide tree embraces all visitors

this banyan in the middle of Lahaina is amazing to say the least. Fun to walk under and see how it goes.

I was in Lahaina in the 80s and the tree was a stand out , still is but not sure I like all the artists filling up the space.

We are staying in Lahania and the Banyon Tree is a landmark on Front Street. You can not imagine the magnitude of this tree until it is seen in person. A lot of vendors set up their creations on weekends under the tree. It is a sight to behold.

A full city block wide and incredibly tall, this tree spreads itself out from the roots that grown out from the branches. We enjoyed it, but there were homeless people and a couple of drunks sleeping on benches. Keep the kids nearby!
