We always looked forward to taking a sail on the America II. We are very sad to hear that the boat now lives in NY.

The America II lost it's permit due to the passing of its owner. It did NOT go broke. I will miss it and the many wonderful sailing adventures.

This is a great side on an American's Cup boat. The tour takes you out into the ocean a distance from the island and providers great photo opportunities. If you want to stay dry, get a seat on the "high side" of the boat. How? Ask if they will be on a port (left) or starboard (right) tack going out.... More

We make a point of taking the performance sail on the America II every time we come to Maui, at least once a year. It is beautiful and thrilling, you meet a lot of nice people and it's probably the most economically priced attraction on the island. Keep up the great work.

This is the real deal. The America II competed for the America's Cup in Perth Australia in the 80's It has been refurbished for charter sailing tours. The trip is 2 hours and takes advantage of the constant trade winds. If you are a sailboat person, go in the later afternoon when the trade winds are at their peak. This... More

My family and I have been to many great places and have done many adventure throughout our travels, but we always seem to remember this one particular trip on the America's Cup boat. To experience such adrenaline out on the sea is just absolutely amazing. All you do is sit back, relax, enjoy the winds and let the crew do... More
