The America II lost it's permit due to the passing of its owner. It did NOT go broke. I will miss it and the many wonderful sailing adventures.

We went down to Lahaina harbor this morning to book a cruise on America ll only to find that it is no longer here. The person at booth six said it is no longer in Lahaina and she doesn't, have any other information. We asked her if there was any other vessel there for a similar experience. She said there... More

This is a great side on an American's Cup boat. The tour takes you out into the ocean a distance from the island and providers great photo opportunities. If you want to stay dry, get a seat on the "high side" of the boat. How? Ask if they will be on a port (left) or starboard (right) tack going out.... More

We make a point of taking the performance sail on the America II every time we come to Maui, at least once a year. It is beautiful and thrilling, you meet a lot of nice people and it's probably the most economically priced attraction on the island. Keep up the great work.

This is the real deal. The America II competed for the America's Cup in Perth Australia in the 80's It has been refurbished for charter sailing tours. The trip is 2 hours and takes advantage of the constant trade winds. If you are a sailboat person, go in the later afternoon when the trade winds are at their peak. This... More

My family and I have been to many great places and have done many adventure throughout our travels, but we always seem to remember this one particular trip on the America's Cup boat. To experience such adrenaline out on the sea is just absolutely amazing. All you do is sit back, relax, enjoy the winds and let the crew do... More

My husband was thrilled to go on the America 2 as he is into sailing and loves being out on the water. Reservations and check in were easy. We got to Lahaina early and got lunch before our 2 o'clock sail. There were only about 12 people on our sail so it was very comfortable. We sat on the port... More

Our family went on the America II this past Monday and enjoyed a wild, wet ride. We sat on the "wet" side and enjoyed our fair share of salt water. The winds were good so we were able to use the sails without the motor and the boat moved very fast through the water. It was a fun, different experience... More
