My husband and I loved attending a church service back in December. The pastor and other church members were so welcoming to visitors and we even received beautiful handmade leis when we entered the church! The pastor played the ukulele during worship and a Hawaiian choir sang a beautiful Hawaiian song. It was so lovely! We will definitely go again... More

Very welcoming of visitors. Great congregation and service. Attend a service and stay for the fellowship coffee on the lawn. Buy some postcards from the gift shop.

The church itself was so lovely. It was founded in 1896, but the current church building was built in 1922. Inside the walls were white with dark brown carved rafters and woodwork. The stained glass windows featured beautiful local flowers and foliage. Members go out of their way to make visitors feel welcome, fresh leis for everyone and free. If... More

Besides providing a fulfilling religious experience, this church goes out of its way to welcome visitors. I received a flower lei, and all visitors stood and introduced themselves. The minister gave an excellent sermon in an engaging manner.

I read reviews before going to Maui and knew I wanted to spend my sunday morning at this church. I was not disappointed! What a beautiful chapel with it's stained glass windows of palms, and Hawaiian flowers. Ukulele music and a Tongon choir, conch shell call to worship, leis for the women.....it gave me a feeling of how the "old"... More

This is a lovely old and well-maintained building filled with Christian love. We visited this church solely based in Trip Advisor Reviews. About one third of the people were visitors. The pastor's message was very loving and spiritual speaking about how to share Christian love. There was a ukulele group and a Tonga chorus. Leis were given to the visitors... More

The 9:30am Sunday morning service was filled with love. The members are so welcoming which brought joy to me. They present everyone with a beautiful flower lei. Pastor Paul played the ukelele and a family sang a beautiful Hawaiian song. The church itself is a beautiful building with magnificent stain glass windows.

I visited this church many years ago on a trip to Maui. I loved being there. It was welcoming and friendly. A wonderful service and a wonderful memory of my trip.

Attended the service on December 28th. Could'nt have received a warmer welcome. Wonderful vocal music by a Tongan Family Choir. and an inspiring sermon! The sanctuary itself is historic, bright, and airy. A truly uplifting spiritual experience.

What a welcoming, heardfelt warm congregation this was! We visited on Christmas Eve and its a service I'll never forget- a mix of traditional Hawai'i and Classic hymns, interesting instruments and fabulous Biblical and relevant message. The only critism is that it was hard to figure out the time since they don't have a web site- so we decided to... More
