Lahaina United Methodist truly has the feel of Hawaii. The beautiful stained glass windows reflest the feel of Hawaii as the tropical sun shines through. There is a chair at the stairs to help people who can not do satirs. There are always many smiling faces that greet you when you arrive. There is a piano or organ player who... More

Upon arrival, you are greeted with a fresh lei and extremely friendly people who welcome all travelers. There is a section where you are able to introduce yourself to the others, and the songs are nice. The highlight for our family was the choir, which sang Hawaiian music. They were phenomenal! At the end, everyone gathers in a circle to... More

We are not methodist yet were welcomed with open arms and free beautiful flower leis. The services was simple and very well done with you introducing yourself to other church goers. There was a beautiful baptism service during our mass which was exciting to see. We especially enjoyed the choir who sung traditional Hawaiian music. Overall the service was special... More

Attending the Lahaina United Methodist churche is one of our families favorite places to be when we visit Maui. You leave filled with a beautiful sense of peace combined with the aloha spirit. Pastor Paul and the church members are so welcoming. We also love the incredible singing from the Tongan choir.

We were graciously greeted at the door with a smile and a lei. Visitors were recognized and the service was a great mix between a traditional United Methodist and Hawaiian. The pastor and others played yukeleilis and there was also an organist. Their Tongan choir was phenomenal. We totally enjoyed the experience as well as the pastor's message. Refreshments were... Many of the churches have potluck every weekend because of all the tourists. It's your chance to sample real Hawaiian food without paying an arm and a leg for it! Also talk to the locals. They just might tell you of an attraction that is not on the tourist maps. Don't forget to thank God for creating the beautiful vacation... More

This is a very welcoming church, guests receive handmade leis (while they last), and no matter what your particular religion may be you are made to feel welcome. If you would like to attend church while on vacation you should take the opportunity to visit their Sunday service. Be warned... part of the songs may be sung by the traditional... More

We started our first full day in Maui at the Lahaina UMC and felt welcomed as we entered. There were many other visitors from all over the USA and Cananda. We received a BEAUTIFUL fresh lei as we entered. The music from the choir was uplifting and amazing - and only had 6 singers!! The sermon was simple but to... More
