When we pass by, services are all over. Still, this totally Hawaiian church stands as a landmark as it has for so many years. Recently, we passed by when the sign was being painted. In the past, we've passed by when the service concluded and all the service particiants were dressed in classic island garb, and then we have passed... More

My wife and I visited one Sunday with our three children. As mentioned by others, we were greeted with leis and a heart-felt "good morning". It was a privilege to be welcomed into this community and it was encouraging to hear an inspiring message about knowing Jesus in a personal relationship. What an impressive backdrop for this message. The Hawaiian... More

It was wonderful to be welcomed with beautiful leis. We also enjoyed the unique choir and refreshments at the end made it special.

Each lady received a flower leis. The people were warm and friendly. After the service there was a time of socializing with treats and juice. Very inviting!

I have to agree with the other reviewers. I am a United Methodist church member in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I visited the Lahaina United Methodist Church last May and enjoyed the service very much. I felt very "at home" at the service. The people were very friendly and welcoming. I plan on going back there again next May when I'll be... More

From the homemade leis by the members, to the wonderful greetings by everyone, you felt you were with people that loved to serve God and it shows! We aren't Methodist but loved visiting - especially that it was partly meshed with the Hawaiian traditions. The message was great, singing by the choir was heart-warming! Came away feeling blessed! Next year... More

Lahaina United Methodist truly has the feel of Hawaii. The beautiful stained glass windows reflest the feel of Hawaii as the tropical sun shines through. There is a chair at the stairs to help people who can not do satirs. There are always many smiling faces that greet you when you arrive. There is a piano or organ player who... More

Upon arrival, you are greeted with a fresh lei and extremely friendly people who welcome all travelers. There is a section where you are able to introduce yourself to the others, and the songs are nice. The highlight for our family was the choir, which sang Hawaiian music. They were phenomenal! At the end, everyone gathers in a circle to... More
