Golfed here at a slower time of the year...the experience was good...the greens were being air-rated (sp) but they were still in fairly good shape...the price was reasonable. I would definitely golf here again

I've played the Kaanapali Royal course a few times in the past. This time, the course condition was very good, greens in great shape. However, the green fee is too high for the course and the general experience. Green fee includes only a tiny basket of balls for use on the driving range with mats. For the price, there are... More

Was able to sneak in 12 holes (twilight) before returning and it was the best decision. Challenging but also rewarding. The views are so good, can be distracting. Very well maintained course. Unfortunately, my GPS did not work (where is my money back?).

Played this course last week. Prominent sign informs you they hosted the 2011 Senior Skins Game. Intended to justify the pricey green fee. The driving range is a problem. I didn't come this far to hit balls off matts. Off to the starter at the first tee. Rude with bad attitude. The course was in good shape but not very... More

green fees are a little high unless you have PGA connects...I suggest planning your vacation with your local country club Pro Golf shop so the Golf pro can set up the best rates and a caddy if needed. This also goes for tennis as well. USTA has connections worldwide. Aloha

If a golfer is spending $189 to play any course in the United States, the experience should be first rate. I was underwhelmed at Kaanapali. Small driving range with bored attendant handing out a small pail of balls which you had to hit off mats. No complementary water in cooler to start round like most courses I have played in... More

If your a golfer like I am you will fall in love with this course. A lot of elevation and the views are spectacular. Greens in great condition as are fairways. 4- 4 1/2 hours you will be done. Can't wait to go back

The course (Kai) is great but the staff could be a bit more customer focussed. We felt as if we were just processed through. The driving range is small with only a few stations. Rental clubs are pathetic. For $55 we got sets of unmatched battered Nikes in battered bags. In three sets there was hardly a decent grip. The... More
