We were staying at the Westin and as we were walking by there were going out so we signed up right there. We went the next morning. This was our first time and we loved it. Jamie was one of tour guides and it was excellent. It was not hard to row at all. We saw lots of turtles and... More

We had a really nice time on this adventure. Paddling was fun..and easy. Our charming young guide talked story...history of the islands, Hawaiian language, island life, fish...almost the whole time. Highlight was seeing a huge sea turtle as we paddled by. Get good directions to the starting place if you book this. It's NOT at the Westin on the main... More

We brought our kids to Hawaii for the first time and wanted to expose them to a bit of Hawaiian culture. Was this ever the way to go! All five of us fit in one canoe along with . Michael and Cynthia (smiles😉) were awesome guides with their enthusiasm for what they were doing and genuine interest in us as... More

Never once did we think this could be such an awesome event. Amy met us at the shore and checked us in and made us feel very welcome. Great instructions from the crew, plus we had a perfect calm day for turtle sightings. We would definitely do this again next time with the grandkids. The crew was so much fun,... More

I was a little apprehensive about being on the open water. Our guide, Rowdy, put me at ease right a way. She is a 19 year old with so much maturity and knowledge of the water and her Hawaiian culture . She not only taught us how to handle an outrigger canoe (from getting it off the sand to water... We took the outrigger canoe (think of a 7 person canoe with a pontoon on one side) on one of the last days of our trip. The staff was incredible friendly and encouraging. As we had my mother and father, my brother-in-law, my wife and myself, we filled up all 5 open seats of the canoe. With that crowd, we... More

We had a great morning paddle with our guides, Jamie and Barry. Amy was available to keep an eye on anything that needed to stay on the beach to keep dry. After a short intro to proper outrigger paddling form, we launched off the beach in Ka'anapali. The first part of the trip is designed to assess the guests so... More

Paddling with Maui Paddle Sports is one of our FAVORITE activities. We were some of their first customers and keep coming back for more. Each time we learn something new about the ocean and the people and Hawaii's magnificent cultural heritage and each time we have a little love fest with our guides. They tell wonderful stories and impress us... More

Kapena and Bryson provided the most amazing experience guiding us to an area where spinner dolphins cavorted around our canoe for about an hour. A friend of theirs came by in a kayak and took photos of us in our canoe. It was an amazing experience that lives in our memories as well as in our photographs
