I stayed at the Maui Kai and every morning I saw the outriggers go out. I wanted to try them but wasn't sure how. My last morning, I was walking down the beach and saw the Maui Paddle Sports tent set up near the Marriott Time Shares. I decided to go out on the next paddle. They paddle at 8... More

My husband and I decided to do the canoe trip for the whale watching. We are so glad we did this excursion on our vacation. It was relatively inexpensive compared to other activities on the island and it's so much more interactive. The guides were so enthusiastic about the island and paddling us to the whales so we could get... More

We have used this company for two years both years were great 👍🏻 we saw the whales from a respectable distance . The crew tells you History of the Island plus information on the Whales. We go away thinking Wow another beautiful day with the Whales can not wait till next year.

We took the Outrigger Canoe trip. We stayed at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Villas North, the meeting place was literally steps from our patio. The guides were fun & interesting. We took the 8am departure, the ocean was as clear and smooth as glass! We even saw their first whale sighting of the season! It's not too strenuous, so don't... More

These long boats hold 4 to 5 people plus the 2 guides. They are very easy to get in and out of the water and the guides gave us great instructions. Jason was our lead guide and gave us much information about Maui and the other Islands. We saw sea turtles and a very large group of spinner dolphins. The... More

My family did the Whale watching canoe trip and we absolutely loved it. We did not see that many whales that day, but our guides Jamie and Kirk were amazing and soooooo much fun!!! I would recommend this to everyone.

We had an amazing whale watching trip in our canoe! Jamie and Ansen were great in handling our 80 year old mom and her 86 year old sister. They got us out to an awesome mom and baby whale. A truly miraculous day and memory!

Our whole family had a great Hawaiian experience on the water with Jamie and Kai. We got to see whales and a monk seal and learned a lot about native Hawaiian traditions. I enjoy surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving, but this is the first activity I will book for future trips.

A couple a days ago a was fortunate enough to paddle with my son through Maui Paddle Sports. I am around boats and water a lot but not 6-men outriggers. The paddling was fun but the crew is what made the experience so memorable. Kapena was helpful, encouraging, and actually a very funny steersman. If you want to laugh, exercise,... More
