We took the outrigger canoe (think of a 7 person canoe with a pontoon on one side) on one of the last days of our trip. The staff was incredible friendly and encouraging. As we had my mother and father, my brother-in-law, my wife and myself, we filled up all 5 open seats of the canoe. With that crowd, we... More

We had a great morning paddle with our guides, Jamie and Barry. Amy was available to keep an eye on anything that needed to stay on the beach to keep dry. After a short intro to proper outrigger paddling form, we launched off the beach in Ka'anapali. The first part of the trip is designed to assess the guests so... More

Paddling with Maui Paddle Sports is one of our FAVORITE activities. We were some of their first customers and keep coming back for more. Each time we learn something new about the ocean and the people and Hawaii's magnificent cultural heritage and each time we have a little love fest with our guides. They tell wonderful stories and impress us... More

Kapena and Bryson provided the most amazing experience guiding us to an area where spinner dolphins cavorted around our canoe for about an hour. A friend of theirs came by in a kayak and took photos of us in our canoe. It was an amazing experience that lives in our memories as well as in our photographs

We had a blast. We went out with Jaime and his son as guides and they added so much fun and knowledge about Maui history. We saw sea turtles and dozens of Dolphins...surrounded many times....it was awesome. Jaime jumped into the water with our water proof camera and took some great shots of a huge sea turtle that was cruising... More

Maui Paddle Sports outrigger canoe trip was one of the highlights of our Maui vacation! The father-son crew were terrific. The outing was a perfect blend of water sport activity, history and sightseeing wildlife. On this canoe trip: we saw turtles, family jumped off black rock, good exercise for all, and history along the way! I highly recommend this Maui... More

My husband and I have been going to the Hawaiian Islands for 30 years and have gone on lots of excursions, but paddling the outrigger canoe was by far our favorite excursion. We went for the first time early in our trip and loved it so much we had to do it one more time before our trip ended. The... More

This is the second time we paddled with Maui Paddle Sports! Both trips have been great and we will go again on our next visit to Maui. We saw numerous turtles going north from shore towards Napali and a very close whale encounter on the way back with a mother and baby Humpback. The baby dove under our canoe then... More

We canoed with maui paddle sports. Michael and Cynthia were amazing it was wonderful, canoeing along the coasts of maui. They exhibited traditional hawain hospitality. We were offered freshest pineapple during our canoeing ride. They were amazingly good with remembering every ones names and making us feel comfortable during our very first canoeing experience. Was definitely one of the best... More
