We had a great surfing experience with Outrageous Surf. Great instructors, Jesse & Junior were very helpful, patient and funny! They truly have the "Aloha Spirit". Really friendly locals, they make you feel comfortable & relaxed. The location was good. It wasn't such a crowded day in the water and the waves were perfect for learning. We had a good... More

My husband and I were part of a group lesson earlier this week. We had a wonderful time!!!! The instructors were great. They were both very patient, knowledgeable, friendly & fun. They gave us very good instructions and helped us get going in the water, and we were able to stand up and surf! We both had a hard time... More

We (I and my wife) booked a semi private lesson from Outrageous for the morning. The surface in that beach is full of stones and corals, so it’s easy to encounter one with our leg or catch it with a rope which connects your leg with the surfing board. We started the lesson in the beach and where instructor explained... More

I purchased a surf lesson for my husband on our honeymoon this week and we chose Outrageous Surf. The location is a little hidden away on front street but we found it ok. The took us over by the wharf in Lahaina. There is a huge rock wall around the boat slips that I was able to watch and take... More

I am not the most coordinated person, but I can say that I rode a couple of waves in Hawaii. It was fantastic experience.

The instructors were so kind and funny! They took great care of our group, they explained everything and we truly did get up on our surfboards! It was the coolest thing ever. Don't forget - your area above and below your bottom can get pretty burnt, rather wear shorts! They give you the top part of the wetsuit.

The instructions were clear and we appreciated practicing in the shop first. The instructors were easy to talk to and supportive. My husband and I both rode some waves and enjoyed the experience as well as the pictures to take home! Our only request would be smaller groups as the surfing area is already a hotspot and crowded as well... More

Took the kids for a surf lesson and couldn't be happier with the customer service an overall experience. My kids were a bit apprehensive but quickly took to the owner and staff. They learned a lot and were asking when they could go again. This family business pays attention to detail and has fun teaching.

My family of four took a surf lesson last week on the recommendation of a friend. None of us had ever tried before (my boys are ages 10 and 12). The instructors had us watch a video and then try out some moves on surf-board benches in the shop. Then we walked over to the beach and had a chance... More
