My wife and i were worried that we wouldn't be able to get up on the boards, being not the most athletically inclined, but our instructor Drayson did a great job. We were both up on our first time, and had a great time. For 2 hours of lessons (including all of the rental stuff you will need) it was... More

My husband and I walked into Outrageous Surf while exploring Lahaina. We were greeted by the owner and he booked us for a surf lesson that week. We ended up getting a private lesson since it was slow that week. Benson was our instructor and he did a fantastic job. We had so much fun and both of us stood... More

We booked over the phone - and had a single instructor for our family of 4. After good instruction, we proceeded into the water. It was quite crowded with other surf shops teaching - but still pretty fun. We hired the photographer - and enjoyed seeing pictures of our adventures. The price was better than any other shop - but... More

I booked an 8:30am group lesson for me (43yo mom), my 16yo daughter and her 16yo friend based on good reviews and good pricing. On their website, it said that groups would be no more than 5 or 6 people per instructor but we lucked out and got the instructor, Mason, all to ourselves. The company provided rash guards and... My older boys wanted to try surfing while on Maui. I didn't get anything organized so one afternoon we started calling around to find a place to rent boards. Luckily Outrageous Surf agreed. From their shop they walked us about four + blocks to the beach where they had the equipment and gave my boys their surfboards. My boys went... More

Scott and his team of surf instructors made our entire experience amazing. A semi-private lesson for our two children (8 and 6) was the best way for our kids to learn and their instructor Dave made the entire process easy and fun. Both kids were surfing quickly and loved it. They are both asking for their own surf boards. We... More

The owner, Scott, was super friendly, and took a late night, last second reservation for my family and got us in. Then Dreyson (FABULOUS) and Junior were fun and professional and made some very nervous beginners happy and comfortable. Everyone got up and were full of smiles. The surf was excellent for beginners and they made sure that we were... More

First of all there is too many surfing schools and instructors in one spot at the same time. Also you couldn't pick a more dangerous spot to teach new surfers, full of rocks and coral. You also shouldn't have 2 instructors, one who clearly stated this was his 3rd surf school he had been instructing in one day, teaching 9... More

Our kids 10 & 15 had a blast! Dreyson had them up on the first waves! Communicated great with the kids! He loves to surf and that transferred to our kids! Highly recommend Outrageous Surf. Very safe and the kids loved it!

Last time we were in Maui our two kids wanted to try surfing. By the time we went to book this the conditions were not right, so this time we booked it early in our trip. Kids dreams were fulfilled. They had a great time, and both of them were successful. The instructions was great.
