Don't go by the Tripadvisor map. The Kahekili Beach park is actually north of the Sheraton and just south of the Westin Resort Villas (not the Westin hotel). The beach is awesome with plenty of parking. The snorkeling is safe with a long reef area. Have seen eels, octopus, and even rays while snorkeling here. Get here early to get... More

The beach to the south was excellent for swimming and the beach to the north was fantastic for snorkelling. It's the best of both worlds!

Good snorkelling, large beach that doesn't feel crowded like the one on the other side. Ample parking and facilities are available. Only downside is no food etc. available for purchase but then again you can bring your own.

This beach has a restroom and a nice and safe shallow sandy beach for small children. (no undertow). The rock formations that are out farther eliminate the large waves and undertow. Great spot to explore snorkeling on your own without having to pay for a tour. Plenty of parking and just across from snorkel rental Boss Frogs and the Farmer's... More

Nice park with lots of parking, picnic tables and restrooms. It was a little windy when we visited, so we didn't stay long. Lots of people were snorkeling, and there were a few divers out. Wish we had visited on a calmer day.

Located between the Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas and the Westin Resort, this is a lovely little green space where locals gathered in the evenings with their dogs - lot of fun to watch the interaction. The snorkeling in front of the beach is outstanding.

Now the beach area has showers, grass, parking lot, picnic area, restrooms and way more people but the snorkeling is still the same! I love this place when you had to hike through the kiawe bushes to get through and parked on the old runway to the old airport but now it's slick and accessible and better in some ways.... More

A great place to relax and enjoy the beach especially during the afternoon. Being the west side of the island, and Hawaii having very clear atmosphere, the sunsets are phenomenal! There are many things to do around here such as snorkeling, swimming, restaurants, bars, etc. I wouldn't recommend it for advanced surfers since the waves are not as big as... More

We really love the relaxed atmosphere at this beach. It's nice to have a grassy area above the beach to set up your blankets and chairs, with a little shade from the trees, and restroom facilities. Snorkeling here may not be as great as some other beaches but it is more peaceful especially after coming over from Kaanapali where there... More
