Great views of Molokai and Lanai from this beach. Very peaceful. And you can watch a live webcam from this beach online after you leave at mauisands.com. Best webcam from Hawaii that I have found

Clean and quiet in the morning. Free public parking next to the Westin Resort Villa. Picnic tables and showers with grass area. Clean sand and clear water. Reef is very close to shore. Ok for snorkeling. Some shade area. The sand beach is not very wide from grass to water.

If you want to get away from the crowds in Ka’anapali go here or Airport Beach. On the other side of Black Rock and near the Maui Eldorado, this beach isn’t lined with hotel and timeshare resorts. Parking the the only thin that sucks!

Parking is shared with K'pali resorts, so a bit hard to find. The beach is great sand, and has showers, bathrooms available. Restaurants are a hike down the beach, or at the close resorts ($$$). Snorkeling was unremarkable.

On our last visit to Maui we discovered this beach and reef area when my husband took his scuba diving class. It has easy access and a long, wide, expansive reef area to explore. We've seen turtles, eels, and octopus, as well as all the other tropical fish common to the local area. Take a mile hike down the beach... More

Maybe it was just the time of year, but what a beautiful beach experience. If you love to swim in the ocean and snorkel, this beach is one of the best ever. At least in late October! Not crowded, public access parking, and some of the clearest water I've ever seen. There are reefs with a variety of fish very... More

This beach is a beautiful long stretch of beach that has as much to offer oceanwise as Ka'anapali but with out all the hustle and bustle. It is pristine and calm, good snokeling can be had about 100 yards out, and towards the north end it has some shade and restrooms. It can be accessed if you wish by the... More

We were staying about a mile north of this beach when a local told us about it. Our resort's beach was almost all lava, and the local said to try Kalekili because it was sandier and not as crowded as Kaanapali, just south. She was right on all counts. It is just a gorgeous place with restrooms and pavilions right... More
