This is a clean and safe beach. Go early and park next to everything under shade. Bathrooms and showers. Many take dive exams here. Good coral, lots of fish and turtles. Our favorite beach for beauty, clear water, fish, and space. People were there, but not crowded. Loved and recommend!

The problems here have not been resolved. There is a lawsuit against Maui County because of the runoff contents that are entering the ocean. This is such a beautiful venue but the University of Hawaii water tests were conclusive.

We loved this beach. The waters are beautiful, the snorkeling is great. The sand is soft. And the crowds are much less than 1/2 mile South at Ka'anapali.

Crystal clear blue waters, nice easy snorkeling with enough sea life to keep you occupied for hours. Not as busy as Ka'anapali down the road. Easy parking and clean public bathrooms.

Easy entry for beginniners, but enough variety for more experienced snorkelers. We were staying in Kaanapali and didn't want to fight the parking / crowds of Black Rock and found this beach instead. Ample parking (arrive by 10 for a guaranteed spot), shaded tables, nice grass to walk on. Some trees for beach shade. We saw a 5 foot white... More

Free parking, washrooms, grass, BBQ options, picnic tables, lots of snorkelling, an easy walk to Black Rock for more snorkelling and an expansive beach are all the reasons we return.

This is a wonderful beach park because in addition to plenty of parking and easy access, it has some shade trees and a small pavilion with tables and benches. There are flush toilets and a changing room too. There is usually an easy entry into the water but you have to be careful of the coral and rip tides. Never... More
