Established in 1983, we are unique because our instructor/guides have extensive environmental training, we are the only commercial boat on Maui running on 100% biodiesel, and we helped found and fund the Day Use Mooring Program on Maui which prevents anchor damage and creates and maintains moorings for the State of Hawaii for the public and private sector. And we love diving! « less

Me and my husband did a shore night dive with Steve as our instructor. We dove at the sheraton hotel aka Black Rock. It was a little bit of a hike but the entry was heaven compared to the shore dives we are used to in california. Water was like a bathtub and omg we saw so many turtles and... More

The Carthaginian is a safe wreck for anyone to explore. But at 90feet it requires well organized dive masters, such as we had, to safely show all the features and animals of the wreck while not exceeding no-decompression limits. Reef Sharks and spotted Eagle Rays seem common here as well as the green Frog Fish. The submarine Atlantis (based in... More

We went on two shore dives with Norde as our instructor. He was incredibly informative and friendly. Erik the owner is great as well. I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I did the introductory course and shore dives with a very knowledgeable instructor who gave us personalized attention. He was extremely attentive to our needs and took plenty of time to help us acclimate to diving before we explored the shores. Our trip was educational and fun, with the only downside being that we weren't able to... More

My kids and I have dove with Extended Horizons several times and each time we have had a really great experience. Great crew that really seem to enjoy their jobs. Very informative and friendly. We've been to several different sites with them, but each time have made it to Cathedrals which is great diving. Comfortable boat. Nice group of people... More

I've been on over 100 dives in more than 10 countries around the world. Our female crew were awesome -- Raquel (captain) and Noe (dive master). They were warm, personable, knowledgeable and very safety conscious. Because it was too rough to moor at the first planned dive site, we instead did a deep dive (which everyone on the boat was... From the minute you walk in, you know you are in good hands. The instruction was very understandable and important. The scuba experience was first class and included having various rare aquatic life that I would have otherwise just missed pointed out. The instructor was first class. I was very pleased and impressed.

Went on a two tank dive with Captain Raquel, Noe and Victoria. It was the most informative dive ever. They took the time to describe what type of ocean life we might see and behaviours to look for. Victoria was our guide and really spent time describing what to expect, took the time to point out numerous features and creatures,... More

I dove with Captain Raquel, Noe and Victoria July 22, 2014 and it was the most professional, informative and relaxing dive day I've had. I've never had guides go into as much detail during briefings as Noe and Victoria did. After the dives they went to great lengths to describe what we saw and then posted the dive logs and... More
