Established in 1983, we are unique because our instructor/guides have extensive environmental training, we are the only commercial boat on Maui running on 100% biodiesel, and we helped found and fund the Day Use Mooring Program on Maui which prevents anchor damage and creates and maintains moorings for the State of Hawaii for the public and private sector. And we love diving! « less

We booked with EH based on a recommendation of another Lahaina dive shop that we were shore diving with. We wanted to boat dove out of Lahaina versus driving all the way down to Kehei. What an excellent recommendation. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our diving with EH. Captain Matt and dive guide Jenna rock! The surface conditions that... More

We were arriving by cruise ship and had little time to dive (boat dives wouldn't work on timing). Did my research and found the Pier was the best place to shore dive if you only had one pick. we decided to go with extended horizons because they would rent a tank and weights for a small fee, but after talking... What attracted me to Extended Horizons was their advertised commitment to environmentally sound practices. Their dive boat runs on biodiesel said their ad. My reading on trip advisor indicated a good experience had by all. Warmly welcomed the morning of the dive it soon became clear that their 'green' philosophy went far past fuel. Each diver was given their own... More

This dive company provided a fabulous dive experience in choosing two dive locations with lots to take in and marvel at, but also provided some marine biology education both out of the water and in...how did they accomplish that under the waves you ask? By providing guides that told you what to look out for, pointed out the smaller marine... More

Very Professional and environmentally concerned. Excellent staff ensured a problem free and enjoyable dive. Will definitely use this company again.

I was recommended to Extended Horizons by Gabe at Kaimana Divers on Oahu. Besides my own inability to find the hours for their shop on their website (probably error on my part), everything with these guys exceeded expectations. They seriously pay attention to all of the finer details than any other company. The thing I'm most thankful for... the time... More

We did three dives with Extended Horizons, we had a shore dive as a refresher as we hadn't dived for over a year. The guide was excellent showing us the animals we would see before hand and making it all a very relaxing experience. As a shore dive it was excellent, we saw a turtle, sharks, loads of fish and... I was diving without my dive buddy and was referred to Dive with Extended Horizons by another dive company in Maui! This was a great trip the dive instructor/ Divemaster Jill and Mark were incredible! They were energetic and excited about diving, friendly, knowledgable, and not having my dive buddy they made feel at home. They followed PADI procedures perfectly... More

I've been diving in Hawaii for over 20 years. Extended Horizons has got to be the best outfit I've been out with anywhere in the world. First, Lanai diving is outstanding. The lava formations (especially 1st & 2nd Cathedral, No Name Paradise), coral and aquatic life are vibrant and beautiful. Second, the staff at EH knows their stuff. I've learned... More

I have not been diving in over 5 years and was by myself so I was a little nervous about jumping into the water with a group and dive master which relied on partner pairing. This org was recommended by the hotel and I was overly impressed. The "guide" was everyones parter. They liked you to stay close and show... More
