The Cannery Mall was just a few minutes drive from our hotel (Aston Kaapanali Shores). It’s a quieter style mall with a small selection of boutiques, souvenirs and of course, Starbucks. There is a large supermarket and drug store which are handy for stocking up on essentials. Worth a look if you want to escape the heat or are in... More

Located off the Highway in Lahaina Maui on Honoapillani Hwy the Cannery Mall has LuLu's Restaurant, Safeway grocery store, Starbucks, and then of course the Mall has plenty of shops and other places to snack and eat. Plenty of parking in this huge parking lot.

Some of these dancers are in training, but they put on a nice show. It goes on for about an hour and they have dances from various islands.

Very few people in this mall when we visited. It looks abandoned. It is a shame as in a good location. The free hula show is great. Starbucks added plus now if one or two of the people working at Starbucks would just smile. Seemed like an off day for them. Did not like it when I asked for dark... More

The anchors here are Safeway and Long's Drugs. Other shops haven't changed much over the years and, on our recent visit yesterday, it was a virtual ghost town, even at lunch time. The interior mall has many shops that offer the usual fare: t-shirts, sunglasses, hats, gifts and souvenirs, etc. The food court seems to have shrunk; the pizza and... More

This mall is very humble when you compare it to other big malls with big chain stores. You do have a abc store (kinda like a local 7/11) you can fine this chain store all over the island. You also have a Starbucks, safeway and a longs drugstore. You also fine some local shops and and a food court. It... More

We found everything we needed to stock up our hotel rooms at the Safeway. Prices were reasonable with many items on sale. Shelves were full with few items out of stock on a Monday. It's full of people stocking up their condos and most everyone is friendly. East coast folks note that this is much like when the weekly beach/shore... More

Looking for something to do before going to Iao Valley. Found this free hula show - what the heck - It's free. Show was fast paced with lots of costume changes. We enjoyed the show very much. The little performers were great. It's great to see Hawaiian culture flourishing and being passed on.

To those people who wrote negative things about this mall: you're WRONG! We just happened to wander into the mall, which is adjacent to the Safeway. SURPRISE! We found ourselves in this kind of bizarre, indoor retail space with many unique stores. As a matter of fact, we went back here a couple more times, after that first chance visit.... More

This looks like a mall that is going out of business. Touristy shops in here. I was just happy they had a starbucks. There is a shopping mall across the stress from this that had a Barnes & Nobles, Melting Pot, and Walgreens among many more. We preferred Whaler's Village in Kaanapili.
