The birds were very pretty and fun to watch. One attendant was not very friendly and tried to keep people from taking pictures unless you paid him., Another attendant at a different time was very nice and let everyone take as many pictures as they wanted of the birds on their perches. If you wanted to pose with the birds,... More

Not a huge attraction, but it is a great place to take the kids to see the gorgeous birds. The handlers seem quite nice and the birds are just fun.

For 16 years, our tradition on every trip to Maui is a bird picture! The birds are beautiful, tame and well cared for. One of the handler even got hit by a car protecting a bird. Great, great pics every time I've gone! Thanks!

We love birds so when we read about this attraction on Trip Advisor, I knew I had to take the kids. We got there too early- he doesn't arrive with the birds until noonish and stays until 9 p.m. There are two or three different 'shifts' so the photographers/handlers and birds rotate throughout the day (thank you for that!!). Our... More

After many visits to Maui, we finally had our family picture taken by Brian the Bird Man in 2008, then another in 2011, then a church group in 2012. My wife and I recently visited Maui again and returned in February 2014 with our 4th picture, but just the two of us. We have now made it a family tradition.... More

Great photo opportunity. Well trained birds. Owner rescued one of the birds from an abusive situation. They worked extremely well with children. They are very passionate about their birds and satisfying their customers! Highlight for the kids.

Since I am a parrot owner myself (11 birds) I was really looking forward to visiting this guy and his birds and getting my photos taken. I was almost more interested in just seeing the whole setup and talking with the guy about the birds. There were about 3 different guys running different times of the day, and they ROTATE... More
