The birds are well behaved and the guy is friendly and helpful (if you are a little skittish about having a bird on your head) great for kids my grandson loved having his picture taken while holding a bird. A fun (yet touristy) thing to do.

Even my young grandchildren were horrified by the intense heat (I believe the temp was 94 that day) that these birds had to endure. Granted they were in the shade, but I can't believe they were having a good time. The whole display was cheesy right down to the plastic leis you wear when he takes your picture. Ugh!

When in Lahaina be sure to get your picture taken with the Birds. They are so incredible to look at let alone have them sit on your head, shoulder or in your arms. My husband and I loved doing this and would go too see them every day we went to Lahaina!

If you are a bird lover this is a perfect picture opportunity. For me the birds can be loud and obnoxious!!!

The man with all of the birds was cute and iconic to Maui. The birds were so tame! It was great for children.

It was an amazing experience to hold these extravagant birds don't get me wrong but the service? TERRIBLE. The guy was a complete jerk. I asked if I could hold the birds since I was paying 30 bucks. He bluntly said "no, it's only for the picture, and I could get a line any moment." He snapped the pic and... More

Our daughter had this on her list of things to do while on Maui, and she wasn't disappointed. He made it fun for her to hold the birds, took some great photos, and (since we paid) let us take some photos with our iPhone. There was no pressure to buy a package at all. We picked up the print the... More

My kids begged us for 5 days to do this and finally glad we broke down and did this. The staff was great and friendly and my kids enjoyed playing and feeding the birds. A definite with kids.

We had our picture taken with the birds and it was great. We had them taken one night and were given a paper with what we ordered and told to come back the following night after 5 and sure enough we had no problems getting them. There are 2 different people that do this in the same spot and they... More
