Climb aboard our HI Tech Ocean Rafts and spend the day snorkeling the crystal clear waters surrounding the island of Lana’i. We encounter the Spinner Dolphins quite often on our excursions. We’ll spend time interacting with them as they frolic in the water. Continental breakfast, snack and cold drinks will be served throughout the day. Snorkel gear provided. This trip will be the highlight of your vacation. Departs daily from slip 8 Lahaina Harbor.

We went out a tad hesitant about a smaller boat but have a whole different view now and will not do large corporate run boats again. We stayed dry ( even with breaches up close and personal) and the camera was safe! The crew was cool and knowledge without talking your ear off. We even got a listen to the... More

Had a great 2 hour tour today. Our boat was a nice ride, being smaller it was nimble and we found several nice pods of whales. Sammie and Jake were great tour guides. Very friendly and fun. Most whales I have seen. Price very reasonable. Also good source for local info.

Hawaii Ocean rafting is the best company to get you up close and personal with the whales. Small group, close to the water, the captain will always find the whales and the captain and crew have a great attitude that makes the trip fun.

I chose Ocean Rafting ( located at the harbor of Lahaina, Maui ) as it was advertised as a very good and up close whale watch. I did two, two hour whale watches with them as the first watch so great. I did this in the month of February in the middle of the whale watch season there. Again the... More

We booked a whale watching/snorkeling tour which was about 6 hrs. We went over to Lanai and snorkeled in a bay area of the island which resulted in seeing corral and tropical fish. Captain Jeff took us back to a area north of Lahaina to snorkel some more. along the way we saw whales nearby and both the captain and... More

The very best whale watching experience we've had. With Jeff and Sam we were able to observe a large competition pod. wow! Our second booking with HOR. Have recommended it to many. Don't go with the large boats. Nothing beats the up close and personal experience that HOR offers.

Our family really enjoyed whale watching with Captain Stephanie and Sean. It's amazing to be out in the water and close to it in a smaller craft. Stephanie did a great job of finding whales and moving on when the time was right-we saw lots of action. Sean gave just the right amount of info. We heard some interesting facts... More

We've been on many whale watches in the past but once we found HOR 10 years ago we never went back! The crew is laid back - but really know their stuff. What this means is they tailor it to the crowd. This time we had a bunch of people who had been on multiple trips (its that good!) so... More

My group of 5 went out on a Whale watch on Feb 23, 2015. We had a great time on the 2 hour cruise. The caption was able to get us right out to the whales and we saw a bunch of them on our tour. We were able to get pretty close to the whales which was great. We... More

We chose to do the half-day snorkel to Lanai...this was our first "guided" snorkeling adventure in Hawaii. First off, the group size was small, which was fantastic. We saw other tour boats that had groups of 20+ snorkelers. With a smaller group it seemed we were able to fit in more activities and the experience was more personable and relaxed.... More
