I recently had the opportunity to go out on the Hula Girl and I cannot say enough about it. As a boat captain on Maui I was amazed at the attention to detail on this vessel. Not only was it large, huge by most accounts, it was impeccably clean, detailed, and kept. They only take half the numbers of their... more

I started planning my trip to Hawaii in Feb 2009. We were getting married 9/12/09 on Maui and I wanted everything planned before I got there. I had scheduled and paid for a trip on the Hula Girl night cruise on our final night on the island. I rec'd a call about three weeks prior to our trip that they... more

Went on the Hula Girl in March of 09. First we did a sunset dinner cruise that my husbands' company booked. We just loved every minute. We were lucky enough to see tons of whales and had fantastic food and drinks. Loved it so much that we booked a daytime snorkelling trip with Hula Girl a few days later, and... more

I want to first say that I've probably been on at least 13 different boat trips on Maui , but there is no chance that we will not return to the Hula Girl the next time we are back in a few weeks. The owners Peter and Inca make you feel at home, the boat on the day we were... more

Our family of 4 boarded the Hula Girl right on the beach. The crew is simply stellar, as was the trip up to Honolua Bay, where we had great snorkeling, accompanied by dolphins on the way there and back to Ka'anapali. The trip is super well organized, and the crew super friendly, to kids and adult alike. Our 5 yr... more

We made a reservation three nights before we were leaving the island. We made our way down to the beach on the night that we had reserved to find out that there was no boat. We stood around for about thirty minutes while the other boats the Teralani and the Gemini sailed off. We finally called the Hula Girl company... more

I researched many snorkeling excursions prior to our trip to Maui. On previous trips we went on trips out of Ma'alaea Harbor and were disappointed to find so many people on board as well as them bumping into us while we were snorkeling. The Hula Girl was nothing like this. We boarded on the beach in Ka'anapali and were greeted... more

The Hula Girl is an amazing boat. The boat pulls right up on the beach in Kaanapali and the crew is extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and I decided to lay out on one of the mattresses atop the trampoline nets. We arrived at Honolua Bay after about an hour sail time. The water was very clear, nice temperature... more

I had been researching a snorkel excursion for our family's (wife and two kids - 10 and 13) upcoming trip to Maui. I obviously came across several positive reviews for some of the more popular excursions: Trilogy, Four Winds, Gemini, etc. And then I came across a few reviews for Hula Girl. Hula Girl isn't as big as some of... more
