I've taken this whale trip 4 times and enjoy it immensely each time. I love supporting the Whale Foundation, a non profit for whale research and protection. The naturalist is always entertaining and informative, but of course the star are the whales. Though we keep a respectful distance, some invariably "ambush" the boat and get really close. If you're not... More

Went on a sunrise whale watching tour and had a great time! Saw about 7 whales, had 25 people on the boat, wonderful sunrise, and great naturalist explanations of what we were seeing. Strongly recommend the whale watching tours with the Pacific Whale Foundation!

I went on the 6.45am whale watching tour last week and even though the season is coming to an end we saw several whales. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and spent almost the full two hour trip talking about humpback whales. The boat was comfortable and had a mini cafe onboard. The trip was reasonably priced and a must-do if... More

So we get this voicemail message telling us that our trip was cancelled because not enough signed up. Communication with the person that evening was OK, but they did try to offer an alternative booking, but that was less than what we had booked with no credit and it wasn't going to the be the raft ride we wanted for... It was a good cruise with a great cause. Were very lucky to see whales in the beginning of November but wished we had more time to view them when we were heading back, and no signs of dolphins. Visited only one reef which was plentiful of fish. Food on the cruise was greasy and cheap but overall I was... More

We booked this tour after visiting the Maui Ocean Center (aquarium). We got more than we bargained for! This is a great trip for adults and older kids (unless the younger ones can manage the snorkel gear and deep water). We saw whales on the boat ride to the snorkel site, whales on the return trip (a baby, mom and... More

We booked on the early morning trip at the end of the whale season and were blessed with about 30 whales including a group of 8 males all fighting for attention of one lady. Bonus of 2 males breaching to our cheers of delight making for a spectacular trip that was worth every penny and one not to forget. Staff... More

This was my first time taking a Whale Watching cruise and words cannot explain how amazing this trip was! This was not just a "normal" trip; we were on board with real Marine Biologist who taught us a lot about the whales habits and migration. They dropped a microphone into the ocean so that we could hear the whales communicate... More

We went on a Raft adventure whale watching trip with Capt. Cregg and Chris on Mar. 24 and I had the perfect finale to my trip. I fell in love with the whales in Alaska my first whale watch and they put on a show then. This trip there were a group of 8 or 10 whales and they were... More
