OMG! What a great educational whale watching experience. My wife and I took our 6 and 8 yr. old grandsons for their first whale watching excursion while vacationing in Maui this past January. The whale sighting and activity were plentiful. We had to make some emergency engine shut downs due to the close proximity of the whales approaching the boat.... More

First, I'll start off with the 'bad'. We were actually coming off of the Carnival Miracle in Kahului that day and were renting a car and driving to Lahaina (about a 45 min drive or so). We did not want to book anything with the cruise ship, since they always inflate prices so much. Since we had a luau in... More

This was great fun. 2 hours in length. We saw whales everywhere. There were cute baby whales with their mothers and escorts and single whales on all sides of the boat. There was free ice water offered frequently. The guides were friendly and informative. Any seat on the boat was a great one. I highly recommend this tour for families... More

If you're going to go whale watching why not choose the Pacific whale foundation? The crew is great we saw lots of whales. Overall just great fun, at a decent price. If you come to Maui of course you can only see whales during certain months. Very informative crew

We had a great experience! We booked the sunset dinner cruise. Meal and drinks were good. The staff and captain were excellent. The boat was not crowded which we loved. We were even able to stop and watch the whales. Thanks!!!!

We signed up for the 2-hour adult sunset appetizer cruise and was terribly disappointed! Although the drinks were unlimited (not limited to the 3 drinks the website says), the appetizers were VERY limited: 1 ahi crostini, 2 shrimp, and 2 stuffed mushrooms that they brought around and served to you and chips with salsa that you could have if you... Captain and crew super friendly, staff narrator very knowledgable about the whales and the area, very enthusiastic. Offered lots of whale facts, dispelled some myths, lots of historical info presented about whales and Maui County. Bold captain always racing to a pod of sighted whales. Great value, happy to support this non-profit organization and we encourage you to do the... More

We booked through PWF because we believed in supporting the mission of education and research of the whales. The staff at the retail site, where tickets are purchased or picked up if ordered on-line were very helpful and knowledgeable on what we might see. We had hoped for dinner cruise as well, but mechanical issues resulted in moving us from... More

Monday Feb 1, 2016 we set up a whale watching trip. The office via a phone call said it was best to make reservations online. You get a better price. $86 for two people. Nice comfortable boat, held a lot of people. Captain went at a slow easy pace. We saw lots of whales. Funniest thing was, the staff from... More
