My husband and I took our son out for a dolphin watching, snorkeling trip to Lanai. Not only did we see lots of dolphins, whales and other sea life, but we had a fun time with the amazing crew of the ship. You could tell they were passionate about sea life and conservation, and they treated each passenger as if... More

Picked this venue instead of other whale watching establishments because of their reputation and dedication to conservation efforts. They did not disappoint! We saw many whales during the trip, including 2 separate occasions of double breaching and some pec slaps. It was a great experience.

We decided to go whale watching with Pacific Whale Fdtn. rather than the whale watch arranged by our cruise ship because it was way cheaper and a non-profit and with naturalists onboard. We were not disappointed! The 2 1/2 hour trip cost $40 PP and was worth every penny. You can buy tickets right at a booth on the street... More

We went with this outfit as this is a non-profit and this is their passion. Went on an afternoon 2 hour cruise. Saw a couple whales from a distance. Federal regulations prohibit getting any closer than 100 yards, but we didn't even get that close. Bring your telephoto lens! All in all, it was OK. We enjoyed being on a... More

We had a great time on the sunrise whalewatch. Jesse was a knowledgeable and friendly guide, and we had the privilege of seeing both a whale breaching, whale mom and baby, Hawaiian spinner dolphins and flying fish on our journey. It was perfect weather and our entire group had a great time. There weren't too many people on the sunrise... More

we were truly impressed by the Pacific Whale Foundation whale watching tour. Not only did we see whales, many with their calf. The biologist on board was truly informative and greatly contributed to make these couple of hours memories we will never forget. cannot recommend enough

Simple a must do if on Maui they are well worth the money. They make the trip knowledgeable and interesting. We saw dolphins, whales, went snorkelling. It was just a fun day out. Food was terrible but I think that was just because I come from Australia and frankly find American food quite odd so don't let that stop you.

We got to see two whales breach at the same time and a pair of manta rays, which they said was unusual. Even if it wasnt normal the trip was a great value!

We saw several whales during our trip and were able to get good, close views of them. I was impressed with the guides' knowledge of whale biology and behavior.

I've gone on three tours with this company, two of these were on my most recent trip to Maui with my husband. We went on a sunset dinner cruise one night, and a sunrise whale watching tour on another day. I would highly recommend both of these tours. The experts on the whale watching tour are there to educate you... More
