At first I was nervous about surfing for the first time, but my coaches Josh and Keeno were amazing! They made sure I had fun and caught as many waves as possible! Definitely a highlight of my trip! Will go back again! Thanks RHSC!

The place was very easy to find, with free parking!! They provide all equipment except a bathing suit, of course, and the surfboards are already at the beach. Our instructor, Kea, was very experienced and knowledgeable about not only surfing, the whole island. He was also patient, never pushing us to ride a wave we didn't want to and allowing... More

Our family, ages 16-49, were so excited for surf lessons. From the moment we arrived at the shop we were treated so well and everyone was very welcoming. Our instructor, Ikaika, was amazing! Not only did all five of us get up on our first try, we had so much fun we decided to go back for another lesson. We... More

I have never yet written a review but am making an exception because we enjoyed the surfing so much. We had Ikaika give us lessons this year and last.I have an 11 year old son and a 6 year old daughter and he was great with them. Very competent, kind, warm and encouraging, Ikaika made it great fun for my... More

My wife, 10 year old and I were here yesterday. Kyle was great and super helpful on the phone -- . Ikaika and Tavner were terrific instructors: personable, polite, fun, informative, expert surfers. The surf shop is low key and informal; they give you water shoes and rash shirts if you don't have them. We carried the longboards to the... More

My 5 year old son has had a dream of surfing and was determined he was going to do it this year!! We registered him in a 2.5 hour lesson along with his 2 buddies (aged 5,3). The two instructors one for the older boys and one for the youngest boy. Their Instructors Ikaika and Tavner are what made my... More

Had more patience than you can imagine and his continuall encouragement actually made you feel you could actually do this ...and we did. It was so much fun and he was great ..I saw... More

Was fun and safe for all. Small groups meant more waves. Tavner was a good instructor in and out of the water. Recommended for sure.

This wasn't my first time on a surfboard, but it was my first lesson and definitely the most productive time I have spent surfing. My sister and I took a private lesson with Tavner, who was awesome. He makes you feel right at home and adeptly adjusted the lesson to meet both of our needs. The two hours flew by,... More

I was very lucky and what was initially going to be a group lesson ended up being a private one on one lesson with Kea. He is a great teacher. Very patient with this newbie Canadian. After discovering that I am not actually goofy footed (right foot forward) we progressed fairly quickly. I was up on the board fairly often.... More
