We played the Bay Course twice. It is dramatic in setting and challenging golf. There were views and turtle sightings. We had a ball, would go back.

First, the Bay Course is not in Lahaina. It is in Kapalua which is several miles, and about a 25 minute drive from Lahaina, and a totally different landscape and environment. Anyone thinking Lahaina or trying to find it there will be at a loss. It's quite a good course, player-friendly for a broad range of handicaps; many of the... More

I could definitely play The Bay Course at Kapalua everyday of my retirement. Built in 1975 this Arnold Palmer design is very hilly with generous fairways and many having great views of the ocean. Since this part of the island is extremely windy, and the bermuda in the rough is very tall, is very easy to lose your golf balls. Ups, downs, hills. Very entertaining course. Practice your chipping before playing.

This beautiful course is on the west side of Maui. Most of the holes give you a spectacular view of the ocean, neighboring Molokai'i, breaching whales, all of which are very distracting. The course is not too difficult, my wife likes it because it is woman friendly. The staff in the pro shop were welcoming as were the kids who... More

Always love playing courses that have a few holes on the ocean. Good elevation changes to the course and greens were awesome.
