My husband and I went to Ironwood Ranch and I have to say it was one of the BEST experiences I have ever had. Our guide was AWESOME the views where BREATH TAKING and the horses are celebrity names! I HIGHLY recommend this ranch!!

The horses have celebrity names and I rode Courtney Cox who was very polite and pleasant. These guys put on a great ride through historic villages, forest and through some upcountry high ground with wonderful views. The staff was most helpful and friendly.

we had reservation several days in advance and when we got to the horse ranch which is off of this windy narrow bumpy road, they looked at us and said oh we are not riding today, because of the rain they had received the day before, but they could not call us and let us know that they had cancelled,... My wife and two of my kids went on the horseback ride - which they thoroughly enjoyed. The setting is on the hillside, just north of Lahaina. Beautiful views and a superb guide.

After an almost interminable drive up third-world dirt roads, the main office appears, and you enter the world of a former pineapple plantation and a large stable of well-cared for horses. The trail ride covers some steep climbs and descents which might prove daunting to a first-time or physically-limited rider. The horses are well-trained and responsive, and what begins as... More

Four of us recently booked a ride, we had hoped to take the 2 hour ride, but it was not available so we opted for the one and half hour trip. Three of us had no experience and I had owned horses in the past. The ranch matched horses to riders perfectly and we had a lovely relaxed ride with... More

I love riding so I dragged my husband away from the beach while we were in Maui in order to do a morning ride at Ironwood Ranch. If you're staying in the Kaanapali Beach area you have a few options for horseback riding open to you, and I somewhat regret choosing Ironwood Ranch. Don't get me wrong, the horses were... More

I rode at Ironwood on 11/7 with two friends. When we arrived, we met an employee from DC (I don't remember her name) and Gina. They were both rather grouchy and exasperated from the week and clients they'd had to work with. During the short walk from the office to the stable area with Gina, she even critiqued the physical... This was such an enjoyable trip for myself and my family (5 total). Most of us had never been on a horse and our guide Ryan helped us to relax and enjoy our time. To start the ride we went down a hill with a bend to test out our skills which we all survived. The weather was perfect and... More

We were recommended to the Ironwood Stables from the Hyatt Hotel where we stayed for 10 days on vacation. We were so glad we took their advise.. We went on the hour an half sunset ride . It was fabulous. Our guide Gina was so informative and vey knowledgeable about the Hawaiian islands and their history. The ride was great... More
