Did the snorkel trip to Lanai with Becka and Andrea. Quite windy which detracted some from the snorkeling, but still had a great time. Beach at Lanai was good. Saw 3 whales and many spinner dolphins, who put on a real show. Staff were great, knowledgeable and friendly. Box lunch and drinks provided.

Went today a little concerned about it being late in the season, but had the best time ever! We saw whales blowing as we were coming out of the harbour. It is toward the end of whale watching season but we still saw several whales. For the grand finale one breached right in front of us! Jill and Andrea run a great operation. BTW, we took the 8am tour...nice temp and little wind.

This was possibly the best excursion we have ever done on any of our trips. We liked it so much the first time (our honeymoon in July 2011) that we came back the following year and did it all over again with friends. We did the Lanai trip with landing both times. Wish there were more whales to see. The few we did see were very close. The captain and crew member "Gab" made the trip enjoyable for the whole family. Loved hearing the whale song!!!

If you go to Lahaina in the winter, you must take a whale tour. The BEST tour available are these guys in a Zodiac, bar none. Ask any of the locals and they will tell you to use them for whale viewing. They know where the whales are and how to manuver to Zodiac for best pictures and where the... More
