Great time on ocean... but no guarantee you'll catch anything

Went on action fishing charter and we be sure to do it again in the future. Left harbor around 245 am, 3 hour boat ride to bouy's, and action the rest of the day! Tuna and mahi mahi were biting non stop!

We went out for 4 hours. Beautiful sunny day and the ocean wasn't too rocky. We drove up and down the coast for hours but unfortunately all we caught were a LOT of sun rays... as in sunshine, not fish :( In fairness they are very clear up front that it is 50/50 that you'll catch anything... so no issues...... Went fishing with these folks and had a great time. We only caught 1 Ono the 4 hours we were out but still better that the folks that came in before us. I will be going back out with them in the near future. There were 4 of us on this private charter and we all went home with fish.

Captain Steve and first mate Tim were top notch! My dad and I had a private charter today and it was amazing!! We started the morning with a double mahi mahi and it just got better from there. We had good conversation and a couple of Ono later we were in a school of mahi and 4 rods were screaming!!... More

Only one fish that day, but Captain Killer and his crew were able. It is not their fault the fish did not bite. We did see whales at a distance and it was an enjoyable day on a comfortable boat. I would do it again.

Thank you Timster for the private charter. If you want to go deep sea fishing I suggest morning as the waves and sea will be calmer. I also suggest 6 hours as four hours only gives you a 50/50 chance on catching anything. Start me up charters are the best of the best in maui and have 7 boats, great... More

We booked a private charter. The crew was really nice. We were on a 4 hour morning trip. You get there before sunrise and head out. I wish there was free parking. Lahaina sucks for parking. We watched the sun rise over the mountains. That was nice. Here's the deal. You put a bunch of lures out on lines and... More

My sons (17,10) husband, BIL and nieces (11,8) went on the 6 hour trip 3days ago. My son caught a 674 pound marlin!!!! Everyone raved about Dylan and Steve, especially their skills in reeling in the fish. Apparently my son was treated like a local celeb once they docked since that type of catch is extremely rare. That said, you... More

You will not be allowed to keep your fish. Dont waste your time or money with this company. It was a great boat ride though. Will choose another company to fish with on next trip. Btw most companies will help clean, bag, and ice your fish for you. Not this company. Dont believe them!!
