Played the Kai course. I rented clubs that had seen better days. Took a while to get used to them but by the back nine, things were moving along nicely. The course is an interior setting runs through a community, hotels and open areas. Got paired up with a local that was very friendly and made the outing that much... More

Very disappointing. We were charged 500 dollars. The couple they put us with (did not tell us we would be a foursome ahead) paid 164. We could not get a drink until about an hour and half into play. No complimentary water. Staff seemed inconvenienced by our presence.

Played the Kai Course 3 times and the Royal Course once. The course is in good shape and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I used their rental clubs and was happy with what they provided.

the staff was friendly and courteous. The greens were in excellent shape. They are a little slow but roll true and look beautiful. The fairways are in excellent shape. The course is fair with wide fairways and not too much water but quite a few sand bunkers

Spend the xtra money and go play Kapalua. This driving range sucks. The rental clubs are horrendous and wore out. Course was nice but I would look somewhere else when spending this type of money.

I needed to play only 9 holes midmorning...good luck finding that on Maui! But that's what Kaanapali gave me. They don't have a 9 hole rate but gave me the twilight rate and clubs at the twilight rate, even though I went out at 9:30am. I was a single which I'm sure made it easier to get on. If I... More

We played the Kai course during our trip and loved it! Some undulating greens and uphill and down hill holes! The wind comes into play on nearly every hole!

The Kai course is a beautiful and challenging hilly course without having to pay Maui seaside prices. Selecting clubs for uphill and downhill fairways will test your eye-skills! The sugar train steam locomotive adds a fun touch not found anywhere else. Can't wait to return!

Great 2 days Kai and Royal Comments about course closing at 6 was true ... So we only played 15 and could not find our way back to club house... Felt very silly! But we had great service ... Clean cart ... Ice cooler and cold face towels upon return... We waved to passing steam engine train and I am... More
