Courses are in great shape. Lots of elevation changes. Greens are fast. Pay attention to the grain and where the ocean is when you're putting. Good view of the ocean in the background. Pro shop well stocked with almost anything you might need for your round. A must play. Everybody was super friendly. The course was wide open and they... More

Beautiful course, with breathtaking views to the ocean from high above. They have twilight rates, so I didn't mind taking my sons up there to play a round.

My wife and I took advantage of the special David Havens offered at Kaanapali golf course. For $300.00 we received 2 rounds of golf, club rentals, cart, and 2 hours of instruction from David himself. My wife was so nervous she almost didn't go, but I encouraged her to try. For the first time in her life, she went from... More

Played on this course with a client. This is an average course, nothing special. The green wasn't expensive so I guess it's expected. We had to call the drink cart just to get a drink. Staff are friendly.

The course was very basic. The views were so-so. No water in the carts. We saw the beverage cart twice all day. The rental clubs were bad and the bag was disgusting. You are only paying to golf in west maui, nothing else. Very over-priced. Disappointed.

Kaanapali courses are very good golf courses, that play fairly. Conditions were good and the greens are difficult. They don't have the dramatic views and elevation changes of The Kapalua courses, but are priced accordingly

Played the Kai course. I rented clubs that had seen better days. Took a while to get used to them but by the back nine, things were moving along nicely. The course is an interior setting runs through a community, hotels and open areas. Got paired up with a local that was very friendly and made the outing that much... More

Very disappointing. We were charged 500 dollars. The couple they put us with (did not tell us we would be a foursome ahead) paid 164. We could not get a drink until about an hour and half into play. No complimentary water. Staff seemed inconvenienced by our presence.

Played the Kai Course 3 times and the Royal Course once. The course is in good shape and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I used their rental clubs and was happy with what they provided.
