I was pretty skeptical about going here when my wife suggested it. First off, it is upcountry, not the beach. Plus it sounds like just a lot of lavender. I read some of the reviews, and they are quite variable. To address some of the issues from some of the naysayers: this is Maui. Enjoy all of it. It is... More

While in Maui, take the time to drive to this Lavender Farm. You will not be disapointed! Only 40mins from the Fairmont. The Farm is a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy so many beautiful plants, and smells that revive the senses. Or take they're tour and learn everything about the farm. The views are breath taking, and worth... More

We loved the lavender farm, and the surrounding upcountry scenery! When we visited the lavender was not in full bloom, but it was still a beautiful and fragrant experience. We did a self-guided tour, and enjoyed smelling the different species of lavender, and admiring the amazing protea flowers! The farm is set high up in the hills, so you also... More

I knew I had to see this place and it did not disappoint. I think I took about 1,000 pictures. We didn't bother with the tour because I knew I wanted to just see it on my own. They give you a map so it's easy. Lavender wasn't fully in bloom but it was still beautiful. If you hike around... More

We didn't know what to expect when we visited here, but it was a very nice way to spend part of the day (like an hour). The gardens are quite beautiful and there are many nice places to sit down and enjoy the great view from up here. Sampled lavender coffee (that I didn't care for) and tea that I... More

Although a little challenging for some to get around this hilly (stairs/steps, too) area, the gardens were beautiful, & the breath-taking views of the island & ocean from this up-country farm made it well worth the visit!

We missed the prime lavender season. However, we were treated to plenty of beautiful flowers. We spent more than an hour walking the grounds of the farm photographing flowers. Very friendly staff that offer answers to your every question. Admission was $3.00 / $2.00 for seniors.

It's worth the drive! Up into the hills. Gorgeous gardens full of native plants and, of course, lavender. The misty clouds rolled in while were we there, and it was a perfect time for the lavender flavored coffee. Great for an afternoon walk through the gardens.

We stopped at the Lavender Farm and the adventure began at the admission shed. Mr Lavender was there waiting there to greet you. All dressed up in his purple suit. The admission is $3 bucks per person, no big deal. We stopped at the concession and they had tea and coffee that contained lavender, we ordered some along with a... More

Went here worth great expectations. Long drive followed by a five dollar charge to park on a dusty road with no organized parking and potholes. Then they charge three bucks to get in to purchase overpriced lavender items. Skip it...grounds are not worth it.
