Many different types of lavender and exotic plants/flowers. Public areas well laid out with a upper and lower area to explore. Gift shop had nice variety of lavender products and knowledgeable staff. They also offered samples of their tea and coffee. You could also try their hand/ body products. When walking through the gardens be sure to take in the... More

At first I was a little put off by the $12 fee for the walking tour--it's lavender! I can see the rows!--but I was won over by the interest and joy my multi-generation family showed as we wound our way through more varieties of plants than I can name. We especially liked tasting different varieties of culinary geraniums--my favorite was... More

My husband and I visited Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm in May 2014. I was really looking forward to visiting. We had done a Haleakala sunrise tour in the morning and then drove to this farm to check it out. It was a lot smaller than I expected and I thought there would be beautiful and large fields of lavender (something... More

All I can say to sum up this place is GORGEOUS! When you go, wear comfortable walking sneakers. The property isn't all that big, but it's really enjoyable to walk around...through the walkways and such. While there, definitely visit their gift shop and try a tasty lavender scone. There is even a toaster outside near the gift shop where you... More

The drive up there was a nice a drive with great scenery. The lavender scones and with lavender jelly are amazing. When we got there, we were able to watch people paragliding and landing in the hill side right next to the farm. All of the different lavender types and other flora at the farm were beautiful. The store has... More

We went here a few years ago and it was simply lovely! Not only the lavender, but the other flowers as well. The tea from there is divine and I continue to order it because it is that good! Will definitely revisit when coming back to Maui!

Beautiful views perched atop a mountain. This is a quaint little spot to spend an hour, with a nice shop with lavender items, although they are pretty expensive, you can get the same if not better lavender items elsewhere. I'm not sure it was worth the over hour drive to get there from Kaanapali area.

Lavender blue, dilly dally, lavender green When I am king dilly dally you shall be queen. Up in the remote mountains of Kula sits small farm saddled with a long name: Alii Kula Lavender Farm. The name may be long, the drive isn’t. And if you get lost, the air, redolent with the scent of lavender, points you in the... More

If you're seeking a destination away from the beach, an "up country" drive is a marvelous way to explore this unique area of the island. The winding roads are a pleasure to drive. On the day we selected, we left the sunshine of the coast behind and drove up the side of Haleakala into the clouds! Light rain greeted us... More

A fellow traveler recommended the lavender scones if I visited this farm. WOW! Don't miss out on the scones if you go here. I wish I had bought more for breakfast, but I doubt they would have made it home! I am not a scone lover, too dry for my taste, but these changed my mind.
