This place is in Upcountry and we decided to drop by after visiting Haleakala. It was a small quaint lavender garden with all kinds of lavender plants and beautiful sculptured gardens. We took strolls around the property and enjoyed the various look-out points with all the fragrances. It's winter so the flowers weren't blooming but there are a few plants... More

We had a gift certificate that waived the entry fee and came with a free scone and coffee. So we decided to check it out after visiting the summit of Haleakala. We arrived just before closing, so there were no tours available and we ran inside to buy some expensive lavender things and get our scones. We were told by... More

Driving Upcountry, we decided to stop by the lavender farm. Heard of this place but never been there. What a beautiful place to relax and take in the scenery. Air was cool and skies were clear and you could see all of central Maui and the coasts downslope and forests and the summit of Haleakala upslope. The lavender wasn't in... More

Our second trip in two years. This visit was in the morning in bright sunshine, the last in quite foggy conditions...It may be worth checking the weather before you go. Do not expect a manicured farm or formal garden. It's a pleasant ramble through an informal garden of lavender, Proteas and various trees and other flowering plants. There are quite... More

I was fortunate to be the only person on a guided walking tour of the lavender farm. The special attention (and great photos) was well worth the $12. We picked seven varieties of lavender to smell and my guide even took my picture next some huge exotic flowers. I will remember this fondly!

After reading some reviews we were going to skip this. We were staying on West Maui but had to go into Kahului where we were advised by a local to try it. Upon arrival we were given a fresh cut lavender sprig which was a nice touch. The lavender in the lower part was in bloom. Interesting assortment of plants,... More

I traveled here with my wife following our visit to the nearby National Park. We had read about the farm in one of our local travel guides. The visit fell far short of our expectations to say the least. Upon arrival, we were charged $3/person for parking/admission which we expected. The gift shop seemed overpriced. I felt the farm was... Must see. They have taken a lot of time and effort to create beautiful gardens incorporating the natural landscape and showing off the spectacular view from 4,000 ft. I bought several items from the gift shop and love them all especially the lavender oil. I close my eyes when I smell it and it takes me right back to the... More

The view from the gardens was well worth the drive to 4,000 feet elevation. You pay $3 for unguided walk through (we did not try guided tour which was $12 at door). Doesn't take very long to cover the grounds. We combined with Maui winery visit so between the two a very worthwhile trip.

We took the guided tour and they told us all about the different lavender plants. The tour guide was knowledgeable of the other plants and trees on the property. We stopped in the gift shop for a lavender scone that was amazing. Purchased the lavender honey as well. Worth the trip!
