From this location, it only takes 15 minutes to sail to Molokini Crater, which means less time on the open water and more time snorkeling. With two snorkel trips daily to both Molokini and Turtle Town, Whale Watching Tours (January through April) and romantic Sunset Champagne Sail three days a week, Kai Kanani is sure to make your vacation very memorable. « less

During our trip to Maui we rented snorkel gear from a local company and snorkeled off of several different beaches. All of the snorkeling was nice during our trip. On our last day we decided to do a Molokini Crater snorkel cruise with this company. We did the early morning express trip which was two hours long. They provided breakfast,... More

We are frequent visitors to Maui, but had never taken the kids to Molokini. We were happy just snorkeling at the beaches. Now, our kids our 8 & 10 and when our cousins decided to join us, a family decision was made to take the whole gang on the Kai Kanani Catamaran. The kids in our party were 4, 7,... More

Our first trip to Maui and Kai Kanani made it that much more enjoyable. From the shuttle trip to the boat out to Molokini it was top notch. Captain Mike , Dave , and the rest of the crew were simply first rate. More

My boyfriend and I were scheduled for a romantic sunset cruise for the night before we left the island (based on the great reviews found on tripadvisor). Four hours prior to our departure, they cancelled the trip because we were the only couple scheduled and they said we won't get our money back for two weeks. No apologies were given.... More

We booked the 6:30am snorkeling adventure from the Makena Resort and had a wonderful time. The crew was helpful, spirited and fun! It was so convenient for us because we were staying in Wailea - plus, the trip over to Molokini was so quick, we had plenty of time to snorkel and then look for turtles (and we saw plenty).... More

A balmy evening on Maui, an exclusive beach-side boarding from Makena Beach onto the sleek, sophisticated and spacious catamaran the Kai Kanani, my sweetheart in one hand, a glass of champagne in the other, dolphins and whales escorting us... heaven? Well pretty darn near close as one can get! The Kai Kanani Sunset Cruise is a must. First class accommodations from... More

We decided to book with Kai Kanani to visit Molokini & Turtle town as we were staying in Wailea as it was convenient for departure point & looked like a good set up. We had our own car so were able to valet park (inclusive in tour cost) at the hotel were the charter leaves from. Check in was easy... More

We have been on this snorkeling adventure now four times and loved it each time. This time they demonstrated an even bigger commitment to customer service, and the prior trips were a ton of fun. The staff was service oriented, helping deliver mask, snorkel to you where you were at. They were easy to chat with, fun and relaxed and... More

The dolphins playfully swimming along in front of the boat, and the several whale sightings would have been enough to rate this excursion as a great experience. But it was the true sailing that made the evening so special. There was no going around and around in circles as we have experienced on other charters. The crew was professional and... More

All-in-all, I loved my adventure with Kai Kanani...very knowledgeable and polite crew. My only complaint is getting on/off the boat...the seas were extremely rough and I had valuable camera equipment. The crew attempts to help each person, but no one offered to hold my equipment. Good thing a family member had told me ahead of time to wear a suit... More
