Really enjoyable course with fantastic views of Molokini and Kaho' Olawe. The course was in good shape, some very challenging holes. It had a good range and practise area. Great place if you want to spend less on supper. "Pub style" food was good and excellent portions for their salads. Best place to watch the sunset! We were present for Mr. Darren Lee's Elvis show which was awesome too!

An interesting tract..quite a bit of target golf with fantastic views of Molokini and West Maui. Greens were in good shape altho difficult for a northerner to get use to the grain. Some spots on the course are looking pretty worn out. They used to have 36 holes here but the south course has been shut down. Perhaps money issues...

Super hot, super sunny, super views, but a tad pricey. On the dry side of Maui this is a desert course, with desert like vegetation on a sloped mountain side. Fantastic vistas make up for an otherwise average course layout.

My wife and I stayed at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort to take advantage of their golf deal for those staying at the resort: free rental clubs (and shoes if you want) and a discount price. Played the other day, the pro shop was great, the cart guy's were even better, but the course was lacking. The course has the potential to be incredible, it's just needs to be better maintained.

Do NOT leave Maui without playing Makena. The golf staff is very courteous ! The course s very well maintained and fun to play! The GPS on the carts is excellent and the carts are new and easy to drive. The views!!! Hard to follow your ball because of the views! Enjoy!

Very nice course on the Wailea Coast. The back 9, especially, has great ocean views. Watch out for the sandtraps - lots of gravel.
