We went out this week on the Kanaio tour with Capt Scott and Capt Joe. You'll meet at the Kihei boat ramp at the crack of dawn, so if you're staying in Ka'anapali area allow about 45 minutes to get down there and park, etc. They set up a table in the parking lot of the ramp for sign in.... More

We have been on so many "guided" trips - all of them pretty much the same. Yesterday we met Captain Dante and Scott - what a huge difference. Their knowledge of the area is excellent, we saw places we'd never seen before. We can't wait to do it again.

As we all know traveling with two teenage boys and trying to convince them that Yes indeed they will have fun snorkeling, truth be told it was a hard sell but they reluctantly got on board and within ten minutes of being on board we had done some thrilling turns and screaming over the waves. Then the real fun started... More

We went on 3 excursions with them while we were there for 8 days. Aaron and chelsea took us out on the first whale watching adventure. It was fun and amazing. We loved it. We went with Brad and chelsea on the second whale watching trip. They were both very professional and fun to be with. The last trip we... More

While it can be a rough ride (which is half the fun!) this is an excellent way to see the whales. The staff is very knowledgeable and respectful of the wildlife. The raft moves so quickly, you can see multiple pods in a very short amount of time. The small size of the raft and limited number of passengers makes... More

Our family booked an early morning snorkel trip, there were 7 of us on the raft. Dante was an amazing Captain and Scott was so helpful. The seas were so rough that day and we were able to find calm water filled w/fish, turtles and more. Then we found spinner dolphins. It was beyond exciting, a bit too much for... More

I was spending a few days in Makena Beach with my parents (in their 80s) and sisters. This was a last minute decision and we were able to get the last trip out (12 noon) the same day. BWR seemed to be the closest to where we were staying and had positive reviews. The water was smooth and the sun... More

We did the Kanaio/Molokini 5.5 hour trip in late Feb. (We'd recommend scheduling your trip earlier in your vacation vs. later, since that'll give you leeway to reschedule if needed due to weather) PROS: * Our captains, Joe and Dante, were great: funny, personable, knowledgeable, skilled... In the course of the trip, they had managed to joke around and interact... More

We took the Kanaio Coast Tour, because we wanted to snorkel from a small boat, and also see some different scenery. This trip was an absolute blast! As soon as we left the dock, we were flying. I loved hitting the big waves, and slamming down. It's not a trip that would appeal to everyone, but if you like an... More
