We went on the "Kanaio Coast" trip and were a bit disappointed and felt "dupped" by the advertising for the trip. We have done a lot of snorkel trips on Maui and had just been to Molokini a few days before. I was excited about "snorkelling remote coves, dolphin habitats and exploring sea caves". The picture in the flyer was... More

The crew who took us out at Blue Water Rafting was outstanding in every way. First, a mental exercise: think of a boat captain in your mind. Well that was Captain Joe. He was the consummate professional: extraordinarily knowledgeable about Maui, boating, geologic patterns, undersea wildlife, you name it. All served with charm and wit. Excellent leadership aside, the key... More

My thanks to the crew at Blue Water Rafting. They take the time to get to know the people in the boat, their names and abilities. Most importantly, they continue to monitor each client once their in and recognize each swimmer's skills. We were dropped off on the back side. Sometimes this can be a difficult entry and swim profile... More

Blue Water Rafting 3 years ago, my wife and I took the 5.5 hour tour with Captain Joe. We had such a great time; we took the whole family (all 8 of us) on the 5.5 hour trip in August. Captain Larry and Meloria (sorry if I have the spelling wrong) were terrific. While the waves were not as daunting... More

We booked the 2 hour Molokini snorkel tour for Thanksgiving day. Upon arriving, we were told it was too choppy to go to Molokini, so we instead went to La Perouse. We were warned about the rough ride, but we had read such great reviews that we wanted to do it anyways. When the boat ride started, we were already... More

Truly great experience - I highly recommend for those that are seeking something a bit more adventurous. The waves were pretty rough the day that we went out, but we felt very safe as our guide was very helpful and provided safety information for our departure. We explored the Kanaio Sea Caves along the coastline and our guide provided a... More

They sail no matter what at 7am. The day we went Nov. 26th, it was blowing 15-20 mile an hr. Winds, and that is very rough water. It's not worth taking if it's this windy. Less than 15 is what you want. We had sea sick people throwing up, and a very rough ride. We only got a quick look... More

I made reservations the night before for my whole family. 5 kids under 10; 4 adult parents; and two grandparents. Grandma wisely bailed out. The trip was very rough the first half and all the kids and one Mom were in tears. Captain Larry & Mallory were great. We found calmer water and got everyone into the water snorkeling which... More

My girlfriend and I came to Maui in September and wanted to do something "out of the ordinary" so we signed up for the 5.5 hour tour with Blue Water Rafting. It was hands down the best day of the trip. Our Captain Aaron was AMAZING! He was knowledgeable, funny, and was a very good driver!! Will the first mate... More
