The dive masters Warren and AJ are very knowledgeable, friendly and go above and beyond with the customer service. Boat is fast and has a head. All gear is set up and handled by the crew. Divers are allowed to dive their computers. Captain Andy made time to go out of his way to take us close to the whales... More

Great two tank dive today with Mike Severns...we dove the back wall of Molokini and Wailea Point. Excellent experiences on both dives! Also saw amazing humpback whales right next to the boat during our surface time. AJ was our dive guide and she was informative and enthusiastic! The whole crew was very friendly and helpful with setting up tanks and... More

I'm an advanced diver and dove with MSD for one day. Unfortunately, not even the warm cinnamon buns could bring me back. Warren, AJ and Andy were on the boat the day I dove. Andy was driving and seemed to just be going though the motions of what he had to say to the tourists. There were only 6 divers... More

This was the first scuba we've done in Hawaii and it was totally worth it!! Molokai Crater is beautiful and full of under water life. We took a second dive in Haloa Point, which was also beautiful. We even got to spot some sea turtles down there. The whole experience was even better because of the extremely friendly crew!! I... More

So with Pauline coming up on 9,000 dives and AJ we expect somewhere close behind, how can you even begin to compare Mike Severns to some of the other dive shops .... you cannot. Pauline runs a web site/organization for 'Sea Slugs of Hawaii' and we were lucky enough to see one of the Sea Slugs that has been named... More

I'm glad I picked this company to go diving with. They did a much better job than the last company I went with in Kihei(you can check out my previous review). You meet at the boat ramp at 6 and they set up your gear(I brought my own). First stop is Molokini and I think we got in the water... More

I went on my first dive 15 years ago and have been hooked ever since. Even though I've been certified for over 10 years I only get to dive about once a year, so sometimes am a little nervous prior to the first dive. The crew at Mike Severns were great and patient with all of my questions, and made... More

While in Maui I dove with the crew from Mike Severns. They were very professional and very well versed on the local sea life. The first dive was excellent but the second was deep and boring to me anyway. We dove the back wall of the Molokini Crater. The second dive was in open water on an old WWII tank... More

During my recent visit to Maui, I was fortunate to dive with Mike Severns Diving. I had only been recently certified for open water diving and that was in a lake in Arizona. I was a little concerned that a dive crew would be less patient with a novice. The entire Mike Severns dive crew was wonderful. Like some other... More

My previous diving trip (with a different company) in Hawaii was a disaster and my father/dive buddy ended up with permanent hearing loss due to a dive injury. I did not want an unsafe diving experience again, so I decided to go with Mike Severns Diving this time around. I am so glad I did, and will use this company... More
