This was the last cruise of the day: the crew was beat, bathrooms were dirty, the bottles on the bar were covered in grime as was the bar top. Okay, to be fair I'll begin with the "Pros" of joining this tour for a Molokini/Turtle Town snorkel. (1) They include 2 stops, at both Molokini Crater as well as a "Turtle Town" section of Ma'alaea Bay. This was one of the best days we spent on Maui. The Pride of Maui is the perfect ship for this trip. The trip out and back was smooth and comfortable. The crew were profesional and helpful. The Pride of Maui trip to Molokini was fun for all 6 in our group. There was something for all levels - snorkel, SNUBA, and SCUBA. The guides / instructors knew what they were talking about and helped everyone get comfortable with each activity. The water was very clear and could easily see fish all around. Only an average number of fish at Molokini and then one had to get right up to the breaking waves. Turtle Town consisted of seeing ONE turtle lying on the bottom. e took our family on Pride of Maui am snorkel to Molokini, same as other reviews they started by telling us we may have a change of plans due to visability. had SCUBA divers in our party for 2 dives, only took one and had refund on second. Divers did not feel dafe and dive was not a great experience.... more
