Peter was our guide. Super nice guy and very knowledgable. We had an interesting launch with some unexpected wave surges but it made it just that much more fun. We saw a few turtles and the sea was a bit churned up so not a ton to see but it didn't matter. We had a great paddle, learned so much... More

We did the 4 hour tour and it was truly a remarkable experience. Griff was an awesome guide and provided amazing history of the island, and was just an overall cool guy. We had plenty of time to to snorkel and swim in the reefs and were inches away from beautiful sea turtles and other neat fish. Great way to... More

We took the 3-hr tour out of Makena. When we showed up there were a bunch of different companies leaving from the same spot and we were the only 2 people with Griff from Aloha Kayaks. We had a great time on our (accidental) private tour! We saw a mother and baby whale spouting in the distance but then the... More

I know our misfortune had more to do with weather than the guides, however I did not appreciate being rescheduled three times on our two week vacation only to find out at 6:30am on the last day that the tour wasn't happening.

Aloha Lesley, once again we are sorry your expectations were not met and we were not able to share our passion of the ocean, Hawaiian history and this beautiful island we call home. The ocean activity industry is very much dictated by the conditions of the ocean. Too much wind and swell and our user friendly waters become extremely hazardous... More

We booked a private tour and it was an amazing experience. The Makena area where we kayaked was beautiful. And our guide, Patrick, was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He was also an excellent tour guide, swimming/snorkeling coach and photographer.

My husband and I wanted to do something fun and memorable while in Maui and boy was this it. While the waterfalls in Maui are cool, nothing beats being in the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Patrick, our tour guide, was amazing! We did a private tour so we got that one on one attention, which I highly recommend. He was very... More

I did a tour out of Makena Landing with Patrick and Peter, and I didn’t want it to end. Never having kayaked before, I was a little worried, but it’s super easy. The water was calm that day, so paddling was effortless. Peter and Patrick told interesting stories on the way to the snorkel site. And they seem to really... More
