Warm and windy. Has a lifeguard on duty during the day. Great facilities with showers and washroom. A bit choppy for snorkelling past noon most days.

Great swimming beach. Always see turtles or stingrays. The left side is a little rougher by afternoon for some boogie boarding and the center and right are always great to just float in the surf.

This is by far in my top three beaches visited while on Maui. When I think of what makes a great beach, surf, sand quality and space are all I think about. Sand is soft and clean if debris, surf provides levels of fun for the whole family, and beach was not over crowded. We had a great day. I... More

BBQ grills close to the beach. Grassy areas. Nice surf for swimming and boogie boarding. Do not recommend for snorkeling. And parking can be difficult

The three Kamaole Beaches (I, II, and III) are right next to one another and are as much parks as beaches. Showers, toilets, life guards, play equipment, etc. make them great for young families. Do NOT, however, expect good boogie boarding during the summer months.

In the right side near the rocks you will see plenty of seaturtles eating seaweed from the rocks. Also a jaw dropping sunset.

This is across from our favorite Kihei condo (The Maui Banyan). We have the ability to sit on the beach, a nice lawn, in calm water, slipping and sliding on rocks, etc. This is a great beach! This beach is home to both locals and visitors alike and offers plenty of space for fun in the sun and guest amenities.... More

Large sand area with some shady areas from the large trees, surf is light and water temp is great. Great beach to bring the family, friends or just want a relaxing day. Bathrooms on sight with showers. Free street parking and park parking, also paid parking lots if you can't find parking ($5).

Enjoyed proximity to hotel. Warning signs all over the beach which for those of us un-use to the rigors of the Pacific Ocean was a good thing. Beach was small friendly and a great place for family and fishing near the rocks on the northern side of the beach. Everyone was welcomed.
