I agree that this is a good place for a nap, but it's also a good place for a dip in the water. I will definitely take my kids here when I bring them next time. More

Kam III is a great place to go - best in the area in my book! Good swimming, especially in the morning. After swimming there is a great park like, grassy area to take in the sun (without the sand in your suit), play games, or just relax. The locals love it too, and every weekend there is lots of... We love Kam 3 for it's family- friendly sandy bottom. We boogie board and Paddle Board here. We like that there are showers and restrooms here. Very enjoyable. More

We stayed at the Kamaole Sands across the street from the beach and it was great to just walk across the street and spend some time relaxing in the sun and snorkelling around the rocks. More

If you stay in Kihei you know the Kamaole beach parks. Kamaole Beach III is one of the best. Low key and not crowded, it is fronted by a wide lawn of grass, perfect for kite flying, catch and picnics. The beach itself is over a slight rise and has nice sand and relatively shallow water, great for snorkeling. There... More

like the other Kamaloe beaches- make the walk down the hill or south down the other beaches to this little gem. Less crowded and the same excellent sand and less wave actions More

Awesome sand, rocks for even the little ones to climb and look for small sea life, decent snorkling, good boogie boarding, bathroom and swingset close by which was great since we have 3 kids under 5. If you have to drive, parking lot can fill up late in the morning, but spots seems to open fairly often. More
