Bring your blanket and head to KAM III for sunset. Great big open lawns. Lots of kids birthday parties on the weekend. Good for families. One of South Maui's nicest beaches.

I love this beach. Visited every day of our trip. Good swimming with showers and restrooms, a park, good snorkeling with a variety of fish and several turtles and boogie boarding most afternoons. Walking distance to good restaurants and shave ice, too.

Southern most strip of Kamaole beach choices. Different from the others and usually more quiet. Lots of park area for families to gather. Full early on the weekends.

In the week we were here, I snorkeled with. Turtles every morning at kamaole 3. Best is early in the am... Tides are nice, but my favorite was the snorkeling for sure.

Great snorkeling is available the entire length of the park. I prefer wearing Keens rather than fins to get in and out easily through the rocks and coral.

A fantastic Beach Park! Great sandy areas and swimming as well as shaded BBQ areas and tables. Lots of nice grass areas too including a field big enough for kite flying if it's not crowded. It will be crowded on the weekends...

This park was located in the perfect spot, directly across from our condo. It was clean and well kept, plus offered a large area for children to play and couples to sit and watch the sunset.

We love Kihei and all of the Kamaole beaches. Easy to walk to and not a problem to find your own piece of beach. Our favourite thing to do is to walk from Kam 3 to Kam 1 and back to happy hour in Wailea. Beautiful!

Nice park with bathroom facilities. Good place to watch the sunset. The beach is not very wide, but it's lovely. Good place for swimming.

One of my favorite beaches in Maui to play in the surf and waves. Like that there are life guards keeping an eye out for danger. Had a bee sting once and one of the guards treated me. Restrooms and outdoor showers are handy. A great spot to watch those beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. You'll find babies to Grandmas enjoying the... More
