This is one of the best places for snorkeling in Maui. We see fish all the time to a varying degree and see sea turtles most of the time. They are curious and would swim with us all the time if we see them. The current is not too strong and water is just wonderful. The fish swims around the... More

Decent snorkeling at either end of the beach, near the reef. Boogie board fun in the middle. Plenty of space on the sand. A nice park, showers, and restrooms are available.

Great beach right across the street, perfect place to take a chair and enjoy a drink while you watch the sunset.

Enjoyed the snorkeling there. Was able to see several fish and found two turtles. The beach is nice and clean with convenient bathrooms and park area.

Shallow snorkeling on the north side of this beach with a great turtle reef. Convenient to a grassy area with kids swings as well.

Stayed across the street from Kam 3. Never had any desire or need to check out any other beaches. Never was too crowed, even on July 4th. It was busy, but not too busy. Sand was nice. When we were there the waves were good for body boarding. I thought it was too rough for snorkeling, but some people were.... More

This beach was walking distance from our hotel. It has a very nice grassy knoll for a picnic and clean facilities (bathrooms, outdoor shower). The beach itself is fairly long but not very wide so sand space can be fairly sparse at high tide. Other than, that beautiful view of the West Maui Mountains on the right as well as... More

We could walk across the road from Maui Banyon and be on the beach in less than 3 minutes. Clean, with restroom facilities. Every night we would make it in time for sunset. Decent snorkeling near the rocks during the day too.

This beach is great because it is more like a park with shade from trees, and a lifeguard. Great view of the sunset and to just walk along. Very good for snorkeling in the early morning. Kihei Blvd does get very busy....easy does it when crossing the street or driving.
