Best beach in Kehei.

This is the second time I have spent time there. The turtles were out and about this time! Great place to watch a sunset.

So many other places to swim and snorkel without all of humanity. Go adventure and you will find many beaches in close proximity beyond the Kamaole Beach I, II & III

In our opinion, Kamaole III is the best family beach in Kihei. Sand is very soft, there is plenty of room on the beach to find a spot for your family, and lifeguards are on duty during the day. You also have washrooms and outdoor showers close to the parking lot. If you don't want to swim, there's a large... More

Was there in the summer and during the week it was always less crowded then other locations; the BBQ's were easy to access at the time also; the only issue would be the winds in the afternoon would come up big time and blow the sand everywhere. On the weekends locals took over all the BBQ pits and grassy areas... More

Great place to snorkel !It was recommended to us by the people we took surf lessons from ! We were glad we listened to them. Park 3 was less crowded than 1 & 2. We saw some nice underwater life . Tail end of "tortoise town" is there so you will most likely see sea turtles ! Water was VErY... More

The best kept secret of this beach is the super-fine powdery sand which is marvellous on the feet. Most other beaches have much coarser sand and it's hard to enjoy those beaches after how soft this sand is. The amenities are great, the snorkling isn't the best in the area but still has some good sights and the occasional turtle.... More

You have to find a parking spot which can be tough. But the boogie boarding is awesome. and when you get tired of that there are 4 r 5 turtles that roam that area. It also has a great park for a bar-b-que.

Since we arived this is our go to beach in the morning. Good snorkeling and waves so the kids can play on the boogie boards! 3 mornings in a row we have seen turtles up close... simply amazing! Restroom close by and showers.

My wife and I have been to this beach 2 times. It is a really nice beach. Good shallow waters. Bathrooms, park for kids and lots of picnic tables. Recommend it for families.
