We saw the sign for a once-a-month stock car race that is held on the 2nd Saturday. Great fun was an understatement. Loved the whole relaxed concept attended by mostly locals in puck-up trucks lined up backwards against the fence with chairs and coolers ready to enjoy. Stock cars and Funny cars didn't fail to entertain. Check out the Sumo... More

What a great time. Friendly family fun. Best $12 spent in a long time. Old fashioned dirt track. Very exciting. Shame it's only once a month. If you are in maui for more than a week and happen to be here during the race week definitely go.

If you come to Maui and the drag races are going on this is great for all. It is fun to see all the fast cars and some normal ones just out to see how fast their cars will go. I even saw a mini van there once, which actually did quite well, they must have taken out the car... More

This is a great time for any family who likes cars. The go-cart races are also amazing! The drags are so much fun because it frequently pits oldschool Monte Carlos, Cutlasses and the like against little 500HP Corollas. The results may surprise you!

What a great find - drag racing on Maui at Maui Raceway Park. A 1/4 mile NHRA drag strip that has been around for 50 plus years. The last event was a night event under the lights and had all sorts of cars, bikes and rails. Go to MRP.ORG for more information about this track and its events.

Have an evening during your vacation for something entirely different? Try stopping in to Maui Raceway Park for the Friday night drags. You can get amazingly close to the christmas tree, walk the pits, and enjoy the action. Lots of good runs, lots of varied things from kids to funny cars. The concession stand is simple and down to earth,... More

Our son races at the Maui Raceway Park. People seem friendly. They had a lot of cars and motorcycles race that night. You are close to the track.

The races were exciting, dirt track, lots of slide outs. Friendly, locals atmosphere. Bring chairs and blankets. Also can bring your own ice chest with you.

Good fun at the racetracks. Multiple drag strips, dirt circle track and facilities built on a huge WWII runway. Plenty exciting car races are held there.

A completely non-beach experience on Maui. Went a couple of times, the experience can vary depending on how many races show up that night. We got to walk around close as the cars were getting ready to run, you can stand right on the edge of the strip (an old runway) with the mostly local crowd.
