I took my mom who was visiting Maui last second on this adventure. We did not know what to expect...and what we got was beyond anything what we thought its going to be! Our guide Tim was GREAT! very knowledgeable about the island, whales, water, etc... We saw so much marine life: turtles, whales, fishes, etc...We were able to get... More

My family had their first surfing experience with Mikey. My daughter (10), son (12) and husband all gave surfing a try the day after Christmas. Mikey was patient and made the experience a great one for each of them. They were all riding waves right away! He made sure to get them all up and going. Thanks for a great... More

My husband and I were on a honeymoon and this trip was the best experience we had in our one week in Hawaii! Mikey, our guide, was awesome and he was knowledgeable about marine life and Hawaiian culture. We saw whales and dolphins jumping out of the ocean while kayaking and saw turtles and a lot of fishes while we... More

Trip with Peter was amazing. The photos were amazing. We saw some whales from a distance but a great Monk Seal sighting! The turtles were the best! Great thing about this company is the concern for the environment and the animals. As we were finishing up, several major, huge boat tours pulled up to a similar spot to where we... More

Aloha, Mahalo for your positive review. We are excited to hear you had an amazing time with Peter. Our respect and care for the ocean is evident with our no touch policy, use of stainless steel water bottles and our beach clean up before each tour. We hope our oceans will be alive and healthy for years to come so... More

What an amazing experience this was! It was truly magical seeing whales right next to our canoe. The journey out to Molokini was absolutely beautiful. Tim and Mike made us feel like we've been rowing for years. Can't wait to do this again!

4 of us did a private whale kayak tour on December 2nd with Peter. His knowledge on EVERYTHING was awesome! We all had a great time, easy in and easy out due to his skill (as we saw an older couple turfed getting in with another company who wasn't watching the waves roll in properly). It was a bit too... I was on Maui from November 28 to December 12, 2014, and between Hawaiian Paddle Sports and their sister company (run by the same folks) Maui Kayak Adventures, I went out paddling with them twice in an outrigger canoe and six times, if I remember correctly, on a kayak. They are truly outstanding. Outings typically last for two hours and... More

Aloha Daniel, Mahalo for joining us on many of our tours while you were in Maui. Our guides enjoyed getting to know you and spending time with you on the water. What an amazing experience to have a close whale encounter. You never know if the whales will swim towards us as we do not approach the protected mammal within... More

I have been on a few different whale watching boat tours but Tim and his outrigger really took us for on a amazing trip. We saw a couple of turtles but then we went looking for the whales and we saw two different groups. They came close enough for a good view. If you get the chance go out with... More

My friend and I are were Maui for the first time and the Outrigger Canoe Tour was highly recommended so us, so we decided to try it. The tour was very educational and fun. Tim was our guide, and he knew a ton of information/ plus awesome facts about Hawaii. We saw whales no more than 25 feet from our... More

Aloha, Mahalo for joining our fun and educational Canoe tour at Hawaiian Paddle Sports. Our guides are certified Marine Naturalists who love to share their knowledge with our guests. With the vantage point and no loud motors in the Outrigger Canoe, it is an awesome way to see the majestic humpback whales in Maui. We love sharing this experience with... More

Two of my brothers and I had a fantastic experience kayaking and snorkeling off of Makena. Of our Maui activities, it was the highlight. Peter led us to some great snorkeling spots and got superb photos, including the sea turtle that didn't want us to pull up anchor. I would definitely recommend the experience and look forward to doing more... More
