Wonderful salty ocean water for swimming everywhere. But the many beaches will not be wonderful in a few years' time if Maui does not stop dogs peeing and pooping on the sand and in the water. Dog numbers are multiplying. Very rarely was dog seen actually on the sand at the water's edge in the 80s. There was more respect... More

Little beach is an absolute -must- (for me) every morning. The setting is lovely, the waves aren't overwhelming, and the ocean floor is a gentle slope that's nearly rock free during the end of September / early October, time period, (which is when I've been there).

1) Road to Hana: it is a must, and do not drive there. Take a tour company. There are a few. We were provided at the hotel with all info and tickets for main attractions (Marc Stevens did a good job on scheduling all our week – thank you! Marc.) We use Discover Hawaii Tour, provider recommended by the resort... More

The outrigger trip had it all: a traditional Hawiian blessing, snorkeling with Honu, ie. the green sea turtle, an insight into the miracle of stellar navigation, a brief lesson on the ancient Hawaiian Aha Moku system of land and ocean stewardship, and helpful guide to the common reef fishes and sea urchins. I highly recommend Tim Lara and Hawaiian Paddle... More

Celebrated husband's birthday at Marriott luau. All food and entertainment excellent. Enjoyed the audience participation in hula lessons. Ocean sunset view made this a wonderful experience. Good price and we were able to get tickets at the last minute.

Loved the shopping, art galleries in Lahaina and Paia. Enjoyed the lovely Iao needle area, walking along the Wailea beach walk and driving the exciting road to Hana.

We snorkeled at several beaches, sailed to Molokini on the Paragon with a great crew to snorkel, shopped in Lahaina, Kihei and Wailea, zip-lined the Flyin' Hawaiian, parasailed at Lahaina, watched the sunrise an rode bikes half-way down a mountain, swam in the pool and on the beach at Kihei Kai.

We took the Road to Hana tour, our driver/guide was Walter, he was great! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. The road is VERY narrow in some parts, it scared me. We visited falls, shops, a nursery and the Ulupakalua winery. We also went to a Luau at the Marriot resort in Wailea, it was fantastic!! Well worth the price!

This snorkel/kayak adventure was so much fun! Our guide, Garrett, was knowledgeable and friendly - he definitely helped guide us through the reefs and we saw amazing sea creatures including turtles, beautiful fish, and eel. I would highly recommend to anyone that desires a sunny sea adventure!!!

What can I say? You can swim, surf, snorkel, windsurf, kitesurf at the beach and cycle for 26 miles downhill all the way from the top of the volcano. Alternatively, you can just relax on any of dozens of beaches and watch the world go by whilst tanning up nicely. Amazing place and highly recommended.
