I felt sorrow for crowds of people that were stuck swimming on top of each other inside Molokini Crater. Seafire departed once it got messy with people and took us around to the back side where there was NO ONE! The water looked like indigo ink, with more fish and varieties than in the crater. Vicki, Dana and Alan were... More

So very glad we went with Seafire. My boyfriend and I booked with Seafire. I called and made a reservation about a week before, but the gal was surprised that I booked so far in advance, so I'm sure last minute booking is fine with them. We were staying near Kihei boat launch so we just walked down there. We... More

Check the forecast and look for a calm day. That will make for the best experience. It is a relatively short ride to Molokini. On the way out we saw a couple of whales. The crew is friendly and very helpful. The water off Molokini is very clear, so good for viewing and pictures. There's a decent variety of fish.... More

If you care more about GREAT SNORKELING than about big boats, big crowds, a bad lunch, and watered-down mai tais, Seafire Snorkeling Adventures is the only boat for you. The boat holds 20 people or less in comfort, Captain Don and his crew are full of engaging energy and information, and we went to THREE snorkeling spots, including the back... More

Snorkeling at Molokini. Allen, Dana, and Vicki treated us so well!! We were very impressed. Even though we didn’t get to snorkel with turtles it was amazing. They offered us juice, muffins, and pineapples, kept our shoes safe and took it to the next step to remember our names! We definitely recommend them and will go through them again when... More

We tried snorkeling on our own and quickly gave up before looking up Seafire Charters and deciding to book with them for our second to last day in Maui. We arrived at the boat ramp in Kihei at the advised time - 7:10 am and they were a bit late in arriving, but once they did, it was a smooth... More

We came upon Seafire as we wanted to go with a smaller group as well as leaving from Kihei. What a lucky find it was. The entire crew were knowledgeable and entertaining. There were a few non swimmers in our group. Dana and the girls were so helpful, made everyone comfortable in the water. We were fortunate to snorkel on... More

We booked a trip with sea fire charters for a Molokini snorkel trip from the Kihei boat ramp. First, they were late and not ready to even put the boat in the water, or depart, at the scheduled time. Secondly, they reported that they were not going to Molokini due to rough waters. They said they hadn't gone all week.... More

Seafire Charters leaves from Kihei Boat Ramp, so very close/short ride to Molokini Crater. I prefer warm water, and I thought the ocean temps were fine January 2, but they did offer wetsuit rentals for $5. They also offered snorkel equipment at no additional charge. They were late, but the 3 gals we went with were all great-Dana, Melissa &... More

While planning our family trip to Maui with a friend we happened upon "Seafire" while searching the internet. We wanted a private boat trip not a large group excursion and are so thankful we discovered Seafire. When we called to make a reservation we spoke directly to the owner "Captain Don". He was very informative and flexible with our itinerary.... More
