We have dove all over the world in the past 20 years and we have never found a better dive group than Charley's Scuba Shack. From the first conversation on email with Charley the owner to the actual experience itself, the diving was well planned, professional, fun and EXCEPTIONAL! The cost of renting gear was reasonable, with the option to... More

Like the title says, these guys are the best experience AND for the best price. It really is too good to be true. I've gone with three other dive outfits on Maui and while some were great, none could beat what the Scuba Shack has to offer. I would describe my overall two tank dive experience as a fun, safe,... The boat and rental equipment are top notch. Equipment is like new and very well taken care of and very well organized. The boat is super fast and very nice, along with the truck that tows it, and...the owner will be sure to let you know just how nice it is. On the way out to the site, the owner/captain... More

Just returned from Maui and some fantastic scuba diving with my friends at Scuba Shack. Last dove with them over 10 years ago the last time I was in Maui and there was no doubt they were the ones to see. First, owner Charlie's jet boat is awesome! Seven minutes to Molokini and into the crystal clear water by 6:30... More

Went to Maui to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and dove 4 days with Scuba Shack. Everything was awesome. We've been diving in Maui for years and this was the FIRST time a dive outfit took us to the back side of Molokini!!! Toby was our dive master on all of our dives. He was terrific. Shane and Capt. Charlie... More

We had an awesome experience with the Scuba Shack! I was diving and my wife was snorkeling. The guys on the boat were excellent and very knowledgeable. During the dive, Toby made it feel very personable even though there were 4 other people with me. I will most definitely be diving with them again in the future!

As a PADI-qualified Divemaster, I know a quality dive operation when I see it and Charlie, Toby and their team have certainly got it. They run a tight, experienced, friendly, professional operation which still has a very relaxed feel to it. Equipment is second-to-none, and their local knowledge goes a long way to ensure you get the most our of... More

It was 37 years for me since my last dive. No big deal. Toby took care of me while just leading our dive to explore. 3 sharks, eels, rays (manta and spooted eagle), turtles, and more butterfly fish than you'll see in your life (just hatched or something). Had a great time and ready to get into diving!

Had an amazing time doing two dives total at at Molikini Crater Reef's End and South Kihei. I brought my own mask and fins, but BCD and Regulator equipment was great to use in almost new condition. The boat can move, so hold onto your hat! Continental breakfast was served, so pack a protein bar if you need a little... More

We went with Scuba Shack on a 2 tank day trip. The boat is nice and fast (but maybe a little bit small), the rental equipment brand new (only the rental fins suck, but that's more about the material and brand they use)! There was breakfast in the morning before we left and the dive gear was set up for... More
