We've rented a couple of times through Scuba Shack and will keep returning. We rented paddle boards and the service was fast and friendly. He uses inflatable SUPs so their lighter and easier to carry. The best part is he opens at 7:30 am so you can get in the water before the wind really picks up. Located right across... More

They open at 7:30 am, which is big plus since the waters are calmer in the morning at Kamaole beaches. Scuba Shack is directly across from Kamaole I so less distance to carry board. We were greeted with a smiling face and his dog Coco. $20 for two hours is a good deal. $30 for four hours, but for beginners... More

My husband and I went on 2 different days of morning, 2 tank dives with the Scuba Shack. We were treated nicely in the shop and on the phone, but in the parking lot before the dives and on the boat the men who were divemaster, captain and helper were a bit demeaning and rude to me, a 60 year... Charlie and company do nice work. Excellent, comfortable and fast boat. Small groups of divers. Tanks to full 3000psi. They set up all equipment. (I really only trust my air 100 feet down when I do it). They include equipment in their price. Michelle at the shop is helpful and pleasant. They start early and get back early. They did... More

Had the best scuba dives ever. The boat is clean and well equipped. All the gear was in excellent shape. The crew was attentive and extremely helpful. The underwater sites were beautiful and full of sea life. As an extra benefit we were able to do some up close "whale watching".

I booked to do my open water scuba cert at the Scuba Shack and they were fantastic. The ocean did not cooperate but Shane, Michelle and Captain Charlie made it all happen. They went above and beyond. Shane was my instructor and he was really helpful and encouraging. When we headed out for our dives the boat and equipment were... More

Just came back from a morning snorkel with Charley and his crew. Absolutely top rate. Stopped for some humpbacks along the way. The reef at Molokini was spectacular. We were given lots of leeway to snorkel on our own within safety limits or with Shane the guide. After some muffins and pineapple we went to the East side of the... More

The crew were fantastic on outer dive out to Molokini. I hadn't had a dive in a while and right off the bat the guys put me at ease. Before I got the the launch site. I was nervous; then in both dives I was last out, I lived it and felt very safe. (This all happened yesterday!) We went... More

Went with Scuba Shack for my 10 year-old's first dive in Maui along with his dad who is a dive rescue international safety diver. We can't say enough about the professionalism and safety shown to every diver on the boat. New gear, warm shower, speed boat that got us to the Mokini Crater in 10 minutes while spotting numerous whales... More

Very professional operations, top notch new equipment. Super fast boat that gets you to Molokini in no time. Best option if you want to enjoy your 2 dives and still be back to catch a morning sun at the beach.
