This was the best Dive service we have encountered, from the intitial contact, the set up at the harbour is first class, the dive boat is excellent, the dive gear brand new and replaced Monthly. The Dive Master Toby was very good and heplful and made the diving very enjoyable. Very nice diving at the Molikini Crater and RedHill, turtles,... More

It's simple, boat, gear, etc. everything was fine. I was an instructor for years and have done many dives around the world. I have never seen divemasters act so cruel and irresponsible towards wildlife. I saw divemasters on 2 separate days (Toby and Charles) dig in the rocks to grab and octopus and then proceed to play with the terrified... More

We dove one day with this company and had a blast. They had coffee and baked goods upon arrival to the harbor and a basic assortment of treats between dives. I own my own gear, but this time need to rent. The rental gear was basically brand new and top of the line. Toby was our divemaster guide and provided... More

First signs of a great pick, was the crew showing up great rigging from boat and truck to diving gear - all top notch. I'm a fairly new diver and Toby our guide personally sat with me, stepped me through what we were going to do, then stayed with me right by my side till my fears subsided. Thanks again... More

We hadn't been to Maui in almost 15 years, and it had been that long since we dove with Charley and the Scuba Shack. I am happy to report nothing has changed!!!! You will still get the top notch service and diving you would expect from the island's number one dive crew!!! Great equipment, knowledgeable staff and a fun time... More

My husband and I first discovered Scuba Shack 16 years ago during our Honeymoon and we got our dive certification. We've been diving around the world and these guys are our favorites! They are fun, professional and safety oriented. We keep coming back. This time we even had them certify our 11 and 14 year old boys. We wouldn't trust... More

Captain Charlie found whales within 5 minutes of leaving the dock. Two great dives included one in Molikini crater where two sharks were hiding and a great array of fish for a 70 foot deep dive. After a breakfast break we went through the caves - an awesome experience at the 5 Caves location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff at store... More

Great dive shop. Very knowledgeable, professional group, all new equipment, best I've used. Boat is nice and big, hot shower! And bathroom on boat. The dives were wonderful! Price very reasonable for Hawaii, $150 for two dives and full rentals. Also snacks and water provided for pre dive and while on boat.

I thought it was just us, but after reading other reviews on TA and Yelp, I realized it isn't. Nice staff in the shop, not so much on the boat. We are so accustomed to being treated with kindness and respect in Maui, the gruffness, impatience, and condescension of the boat crew were jarring. As snorkelers we were definitely a... More

If you want personal service on a fast, fun boat, then book a snorkel/scuba trip with Scuba Shack. We got out to Molikini early, stopped to see some whales along the way and then has a light snack before hitting Turtle Town. Our family of five snorkelled while a family of three scuba dived. The captain and dive master were... More
