We did the day tour and had a fantastic time. RC was amazing, my son loved him and my husband as well! Tony was great too. They both looked after us all day and I felt safe the whole time. RC made it heaps of fun. We loved it, was a highlight of our Maui stay.

The first part of the trip was great. Our pickup was prompt and the guide in the van was wonderful. He said he grew up in Hana and knew a lot about the area. We were among the first groups to arrive at the top. It was cold but I really appreciated getting there early. We had the best spot... More

First time watching the sunrise at Haleakala, and it was amazing. Though you do have to get up early (we stayed in Kaanapali, so we got picked up at 2 am), it is worth it. Also, if you go, don't be shy about "borrowing" a blanket from where you are staying to help keep you warm (even in the middle... More

I was a little hesitant to waking up early to be picked up at 2:00 AM (yes, 2:00 AM). It was well worth it to see the sunrise from the top of a volcano. How many times can you say that you saw the sunrise when you were above the clouds? It was a blast to ride a bike down... More

website permits to book days unavailable days (charging credit card): I booked for tuesday but the trip had been rescheduled for thursday. Contintental breakfast almost inexistent. The guide offended and humilated me and my wife because we didn't undestand everything he said (we are stranger). He also invited all the people in the van "...to clap for the Italian guys... More

I rode Maui Downhill 25 years ago when we started at the top and rode all the way down to the Sizzler. This time I went on the daytime version with Aunts, cousins and my partner and we all had a blast ! RC and Billy made it lots of fun and I can't wait to do it again!

This was a great experience, the views were breath taking from the height of 10,023 feet on top of the volcano. The ride down on the bikes were great. If you book this trip please ask for RC he was the best guide.

My partner and I booked the 7:20am tour with Maui Downhill, Wed. July 9th, 2014. RC (lead cyclist/ guide) picked us up promptly at 7:20am outside our Kihei hotel. Once at "basecamp" in Kahului, we were outfitted with helmets and waited for other members of the tour to join us. Being with a group of eleven allowed us to get... More

This trip began extremely early but was worth it for the sunrise above the clouds. There are not too many places you can experience this. Our morning guide, Doug a Hawaiian Native, was extremely knowledgeable and provided a great history lesson as we climbed up and down the mountain in the bus. He took the time to answer questions and... More

We had a great time within Maui Downhill. We were picked up from our hotel at 2am and one if the first tour groups to get to the top of the mountain for the sunrise- so we got the best views for sunrise. We were given wind breakers and pants because it was a little chilly. We were then fitted... More
