I rode Maui Downhill 25 years ago when we started at the top and rode all the way down to the Sizzler. This time I went on the daytime version with Aunts, cousins and my partner and we all had a blast ! RC and Billy made it lots of fun and I can't wait to do it again!

This was a great experience, the views were breath taking from the height of 10,023 feet on top of the volcano. The ride down on the bikes were great. If you book this trip please ask for RC he was the best guide.

My partner and I booked the 7:20am tour with Maui Downhill, Wed. July 9th, 2014. RC (lead cyclist/ guide) picked us up promptly at 7:20am outside our Kihei hotel. Once at "basecamp" in Kahului, we were outfitted with helmets and waited for other members of the tour to join us. Being with a group of eleven allowed us to get... More

This trip began extremely early but was worth it for the sunrise above the clouds. There are not too many places you can experience this. Our morning guide, Doug a Hawaiian Native, was extremely knowledgeable and provided a great history lesson as we climbed up and down the mountain in the bus. He took the time to answer questions and... More

We had a great time within Maui Downhill. We were picked up from our hotel at 2am and one if the first tour groups to get to the top of the mountain for the sunrise- so we got the best views for sunrise. We were given wind breakers and pants because it was a little chilly. We were then fitted... More

The staff were knowledgeable and courteous and friendly. They made everyone feel safe, which was no easy task with our group. Their bathrooms were very clean, which I liked. Their continental breakfast was a packaged Danish and their vans could have been cleaner. The sunrise at Haleakala was one of the most spectacular sights I've ever seen. Worth the money,... More

The views of the sunrise over Haleakala are absolutely breathtaking. The guides of Maui downhill were very helpful on the ride down the hill. Best to plan this early in your trip before you adjust to time change so the 2am pick up is not so brutal. Overall experience is worth the cost of money and sleep.

Going to the top of Haleakala and then biking down is one of my favorite activities to do in Maui. There is no better way to watch and experience a sunrise. As far as that part of the trip is concerned I could not have been happier. It was a beautiful morning and the warmest I have experience at about... More

this was the only thing I absolutely hated while in Maui. They are not truthful about what is going to happen. They said they feed you continental breakfast, all it was was coffee and some gas station type danishes. When I booked it they said you can ride down by yourself and pic your speed. There I was told to... More
