We were picked up at our hotel at 3am but so glad we did it. We started off at the Maui Downhill location to receive our rain jackets, pants and helmets. Continental breakfast was advertised but I wouldn't call it breakfast. It was a cold pastry, coffee, and hot chocolate that didn't even have a stir stick to mix it... More

Well worth the early start. We saw in the first sunrise of 2015, boy was it cold! Wrap up warm. The Down hill Maui experience was so much fun! Felt like a child again and grinned the whole way down. Free wheeling down a volcano is my kind of cycling!!

This tour was booked with the Makena Beach and Golf Resort concierge. It was actually 3 tours in 1. We began with the Haleakala Sunrise tour. Yes we had to wake up early and yes it was very cold all the way at the top of the volcano, but I have zero complaints. What's a trip without doing something out... More

If you want see the most amazing sunrise of your life take this tour. Well worth getting picked up at 3am. Down hill bike ride was fantastic. I probably pedaled 5-6x because it's 15 miles of downhill which could be done in less an hr if we did not stop. Great tour, id do it again.

Sunrise was well worth the 2am pick up!! Enjoyed the downhill bike, the views where fantastic! Was worried it might be fast/scary but it was a pleasent relaxed pace. Lavender farm was also nice to drop into.

You have to do this!! Sunrise on Haleakala was so amazing. It was a very spiritual experiance and unlike anything we have ever done before. The colours of the sunrise were incredible - truly a gift for everyone witnessing them. The bike ride/glide afterwards was SO much fun. Our tour guide, Doug, made the early morning ride to the crater... More

So, they make me get up and meet a bus at 2:30 a.m. Some can get driven to the top of a volcano by 4:30 so I can stand in 30-degree weather for an hour and a half to see a 10 minute sunrise. That's how my day started and it didn't get a lot better after that. Now granted... More

We took this tour and had a great time and some excellent views. Benny and Louie, our guides, were both informative and entertaining. You are provided helmets and a very sturdy bike. Attention is paid to safety, but to some extent, you are responsible as well since you are riding a bicycle downhill at speeds that I estimate at 20... More

We did the sunrise ride and the view was beautiful, but went down from there. Don't count on their continental breakfast, it is only prepackaged pastries. The guide that took us up for the first part of the trip was great very nice and informative. He left us with our bike guides and the bikes. The bikes looked to be... More

Mark picked us up at 2:20 am and he was fun. Once we got to Maui Downhill they had sweet rolls, coffee and tea. Fitted us with helmets and rain gear and we left for sunrise on Haleakala. Jessie our bike guide and Mark kept a fun banter going all the way up -it was fun. The sunrise was worth... More
