Yes, you should get up at 2am to see the sun rise over the Pacific from the top of a volcano then turn around and bike down a volcano. But I would certainly pick a different touring company than this. The guides were nice enough and personable and knowledgeable but there was a huge whiff of pot in the van... More

This is a great start to the day which included being picked up and dropped off at our hotel. It's a super early start, so plan for this as your first day as your body internal clock is still tuned to the mainland. It's cold cold cold on top, so bring layered clothing. This tour supplied wind pants and a... More

Forget about the 2 am pickup time just do it and you wont regret the view and the ride and the staff! Professionally run crew top to bottom. I originally thought this would be hokey but i was amazed and smiling. A mist do on maui

This tour can provide an amazing experience. It starts super early in the morning (didn't seem quite so early for us though since we had come from Eastern Standard Time!), with a van ride up to Haleakala to see the sunrise. It is beautiful (but super cold, but they do provide windbreakers, which helps some). The potential problem is the... More

The ride was great. Bobby, our guide was very good, experienced, and funny. It was an amazing ride. HOWEVER, the bathrooms were broken at their office and they offered no alternatives. Also, the breakfast that they offer is a granola bar, so be sure to eat something substantial before you go. Most of us got picked up around 2:45 a.m.... More

First off, I don't know how anyone can give a negative review of this. Can these guys control the weather? Of course not. And how can you expect to ride a bike down a volcano and NOT go fast? Anyhow, our guides were K (Kaulana? sp?) and Blaze. Picked us up at our hotel, which at 2:40 AM is a... More

Everyone said this was the "must do" activity in Maui so we were so excited even when we had to get up to catch the bus at 2a. That excitement did not last long as the driver raised to the continental breakfast and safety orientation. The facility, van and breakfast were not impressive at all. The ride to the top... More

Had a blast with Bobby and the team! Early morning drive up to watch the sunrise and then a cool coast down to the coast....comfy bikes, super secure with them in the van following us down hill. Great way to see Maui and all of it's splendor! Highly recommend these guys!

We had such an amazing time on the downhill bike trip from Haleakala earlier this week. We opted for the day tour rather than sunrise and I'm so glad we did. Sunrise is very busy and you don't get to see the scenery on the way up. Riding down you need to pay attention directly in front and should not... More

Four of us, all experienced mountain bike riders took this early morning trip. We were picked up from our hotel at 2.45 am which was a bit of a shock to the system. There was a driver, bike guide, and 12 guests. The trip up in the van was a bit frantic, but the views from the summit were superb.... More
