I always go to it on Saturday mornings. Love to buy REAL fruits and veges grown on Hi. islands. Like talking with the artists who explain details about their work. Many import goods from 'fair trade' women workers in underdeveloped countries so I feel good that I also help them as well as the local designer artists by buying their... More

Had Swap Meet recommended to us by a couple of people--we were not too sure we wanted to spend one of our last mornings there, but it was great. All sorts of fun people watching, and great Hawaiian clothing and art items--we would have bought some great fresh produce if we could have stored it. We were told not to... More

Since my brother moved to Maui about 3 years ago, we’ve made 3 trips to visit and each time we’ve made it a point to go to the Maui Swap meet. It’s a little bit of everything in a field by the Maui branch of the University of Hawaii. You’ll find the usual tourist things like t-shirts and muumuus along... More

Loved this experience. Dozens of local, micro, purveyors: great soaps, jams, breads, art, snacks, food, etc. etc. Be forwarned: it costs 50 cents to get in. Seriously worth every penny 4 times over. Literally.

the maui swap meet is not as large as i expected and this is good so you can do other things the rest of the day. it is big enough to be worth you while. parking is free and there is plenty plus some shaded under solar panels. there is also special disabled parking closer to the entrance of the... Great fun. Best for fresh produce. Great prices. Favourite is huge bag of Rambutan for $10. Jams, jellies, snacks, etc... Some touristy booths but that's fine too. Well run. Well organized. Recommend. :)

Mark your tour calendars for Saturdays from 9 am to 1pm. Come by the Maui Swap Meet and for $.50 get a chance to view all that is Hawaii in one area. Food, jewelry, fresh produce, clothing, one of a kind gifts (license plate art), and Hawaiian artisans are exhibiting and selling their products.

Whenever we're in Maui we make sure to include the Maui Swap Meet every Saturday 7-1. Not only do they have a variety of local art and craft vendors there are several farm fresh produce vendors. The crafts persons are usually on hand working so you can see what goes into the craft. And the produce vendors are happy to... More

Plan to go to shop on Saturday morning for local items. They have many places to buy fruits and vegetables. Try the apple bananas-they are delicious. Be sure to check the weather because it does get rained out many times. It only costs 50 cents to get in and parking is free. It is just a fun place to help... More

One of my coworkers told me about the Maui swap meet when I first arrived in Maui. I also saw a blurb about it in one of the Maui tour is in magazines. So before we left I took the time to look up the hours of the swap meet. I'm so happy that we decided to get up early... More
