We had an awesome tour guide JP his given name is Julian + 5 more names which I would not embarass myself by trying to pronounce. You knew how much he cared about his job and he made us feel right at home. All day he treated us like royallity. He made my mother in law, who has terminal cancer,... More

Even before I booked Mahalo Tours, the person I spoke to over the phone was so incredibly helpful when I asked him questions like where I should stay, how I could get to my hotel without driving because I'm under 21. He gave me a link to cheap accommodation which is honestly hard to find in maui, and he gave... More

It is a pleasure to write a review of the Road to Hana tour with Mahalo tours. My wife and I are in our sixties and have been so very lucky to have traveled to many places in North America and Europe etc. Thus, we are quite used to taking various tours to various locations. We both feel this tour... More

We spent the day trapped in a van listening to our guide go on and on about his life than about the trip. We were told to get good walking shoes and swimwear and towels, but the only places we stopped for more than 3 min was for lunch and at a winery!!?? As for the seven sacred pools that... More

Aloha, We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your tour with Mahalo Tours. We have made multiple attempts to contact you through TripAdvisor, but have not yet received a response. As you know, this tour is an all-day tour, but even 10 to 12 hours aren't enough when it comes to seeing everything on the Road... More

We just returned from a Mahalo Tour to Hana. At first we thought we could simply drive it ourselves but decided to do something unusual for us and try a tour. Not liking "tours" very much this was a big decision for us and as it turned out, a very good one. We arranged a day tour with Mahalo Tours... More

The Road to Hana tour is a NECESSITY to fully experience some of the very best of Maui's charms! It is a great way to see the parameter of the island. We opted for the approximate 11 hour long tour (continuing on the non-paved road, including the arid side of the island, past the winery.) Being a thrill-seeker, I always... More

I had the opportunity to visit Maui back in June 2011 with a large group of friends and extended family. This trip was the first time for a friend and myself. We chose to do the Road to Hana tour. Our hotel, Marriott Ocean Club, schedule this trip for us on June 21st, 2011. Our guide said we could call... More

Our boat docked late, but no worries. We were given a "private" tour by Keith...an amazing and fun guy. My husband and I and Keith had a grand adventure, going to spots most other tour buses didn't stop at. And Keith would tell us the most interesting stories and tidbits at every point, while other tour operators were off smoking... More

The tour guide wasn't kidding when he said it would be a 12 hour trip. The tour guide made many stops along the way, but seemed to pass up the ones we really wanted to stop at. For instance, there were some beautiful waterfalls along the way. When we mentioned if we could stop at one, he said he was... More

We would like to thank Mahalo tours for a fantastic day on the road to Hana and beyond. Cousin Jeff was a great host, guide, ukelele player, singer and friend. Nothing was too much trouble and extended our day by transferring us to the airport after cousin Charlie included a city tour in the meantime. Our coach was great - only 8... More
