Such an amazing experience! Our pilot, Ian was very informative and friendly. We saw some amazing sights that can only be experience by air. The helicopters seat 6 passengers (other than the pilot), which makes for a more intimate experience. 4-point seat belts and life jackets are strapped to you, which made me feel very, very safe. I would recommend... More

We originally planned to tour the crater but the clouds change that. We opted to see Molokai. I have never ridden on a helicopter. The turbulence was a little tough for me. I did enjoy the tour and the pilot had calming voice that really helped. I am not sure I would do it again only because of the somewhat... More

Our family of four went for a helicopter ride. We had never done it before.. I'm scared of heights.. But have to say this was absolutely the best thing I ever done! Our pilot Clayton was calm, knowledgable and a great pilot. Great views of the valley and waterfalls. We seemed so close you could touch them. My whole family... More

My new husband and I have always wanted to do a a helicopter ride, and decided that if we were going to splurge, this was the best time to do it, and we are definitely glad that we did. Sunshine was super accommodating, and even upgraded our trip to the West Maui/Molokai excursion when the weather was to bad to... More

I've flown on other helicopter tours in Hawaii, and this was the best so far. Very professional, they don't treat you like a tourist, and our pilot, Pete, was professional, knowledgeable, and we weren't stuck listening to any corny jokes or useless banter (which I think is just an insult to anyone with basic intelligence). We just got a lot... More

This 2 hour trip takes you over the volcanoes for a peek into the calderas and then over to the Hilo side for waterfall views. Really remarkable views of the differences in the island topography from massive lava fields to lush forrest and jungles. Pay a little extra to sit in the front seats.

We flew with our pilot Ian, we had a great ride and got to see the waterfalls and parts of the island that you could only see by air. He told a lot about everything we saw. Was great to see the waterfalls that was in the movie Jurassic Park. GREAT RIDE !!!!

Sunshine was 5 star all the way. The staff was friendly and informative! We chose the West Maui molakai trip which was absolutely spectacular!!! The views, the waterfalls, the coast line, all amazing! The pilot was informative and friendly, and we had great views of everything even in the back seat. The check in and briefing was super efficient and... More

We (me, husband, 7 year old daughter) went on a ride just after dawn in one of the larger helicopters to accommodate my tall (6'4") husband--note if someone in your party is tall or extra large in some way, you'll need to take a larger helicopter. There was some discussion of whether the fog would make us take a different... More

Despite the fact that I'm terrified of heights, I decided to go out of my comfort zone, and take a helicopter tour to make the most of our trip to Maui. From the moment we stepped inside their office, we were pleased by the level of professionalism shown by everyone we came in contact with, which immediately put me at... More
