JAN - 2010 Our hike into the west mountains with Randy was very memorable. As a guide, Randy is very flexible and take a real interest in his clients needs which we found so positive. Yes, we would definitely book again with Maui Hiking Safaris. Pauline & Rene Saltspring Island,BC Canada

Myself, wife, and mother-in-law took eco tour with hike Maui. Our guide was a transport from New York City who moved to Maui about 15 years ago and took on a Hawaiian name, Ula Ula. I never met such a knowledgable passionate indivdual who loved his "new home" so much and happily taught us volumes of useful info about Maui... More

I was recently in Maui, enjoying the sunshine, warm breeze, happy people, food, everything, but the experience I will never forget was hiking...Here,in LA,we all are in a rush, disconnected from the nature and the inner "I",not having time to stop and admire the beauty for a second... For just 4-5 hours I felt like I'm finally in piece with myself, that life is good and God is... More

Hike Maui was the best experience of our cruise of the Hawaiian Islands. Our guide, Tony, was so knowledgeable about the history, culture and plant and animal life that everyone in our group felt we got much more than we paid for. The lunch provided was simple, but delicious. As I was recovering from a broken ankle, Tony provided a... More

We had the best time hiking with our guide Kahi. We have 4 children ages 6-10 and everybody had a great time. Our guide lead us through the rain forest, stopping many times to teach the kids about the vegetation and small creatures that make up this magnificent place! He showed us many edible plants and the kids snacked their... More

It was a great experience. My wife and I took a trip with Kahi in December on our Honeymoon. Kahi showed us all the amazingly fresh fruit and gave us tons of knowledge about the foliage and reptiles that we came across. He also gave us some great advice about traveling the island of Maui in general and helped us... More

This is a great 1/2 day venture that took us into the tropical rainforest area of Maui off the Highway to Hana, just east of Paia. Our guide, Randy, really made the trip enjoyable. He taught us how to speak Hawaiian, he told us so much about the history of the island, explained about different plants and their historical uses,... More

Based on Trip Advisor I booked two hikes--and they were great...the rain forest and the Haleakala hikes. The best part were the guides: Ula-Ula and Marco Polo. They knew so much about Hawaiian culture, history, language, botany! We jumped into lagoons, ate passion fruit, swam in cold waterfall-fed pools... and learned so much. WOW! Haleakala was so different--hiking at 7,000... More

My sister and I visited Maui the first week of December of 2009 and one of the things we enjoyed the most was a hike we did with the Hike Maui folks. Everything about the hike was great but the best part was our tour guide Kahi. He was a true Hawaiian who knew so much and shared it all... More

My husband and i recently booked a hike with Hike Maui to hike the crater at Haleakala. It was booked through American Express agent and i was there when she personally confirmed our booking. She also notified us that since the booking was less than 24 hours away, there would be no refunds. About six hours later, American Express told... More

The national park does not allow us to take more than 10 clients to the Crater. Our new receptionist forgot that detail when she took the booking. As soon as a senior receptionist discovered the error we worked during the six hours you mention trying to fix it --we called all the other 10 clients to see if they could... More
