Kahi, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the Island. Loved learning about the history and vegetation of Maui. He had us tasting plants in the rainforest we never would have known as edible. We saw 4 waterfalls, swimming in 2 of them. Lunch was great. I recommend wearing hiking sandals as we had to cross streams and the waterfalls are rocky,... More

We have joined Hike maui on several trips to the island and it is a family favorite! Mike was a fabulous tour guide on our most recent trip where we vacationed with 5 other couples. Everyone loved this tour! Fun, informative, scenic and active!

Best waterfall hike ever! Don't try to do it yourself. The guides can enter the paths that are reserved for locals only, they know the terrain and everything there's to know about the vegetation. They can also tell you where it is safe to dive....very important if you plan to do it. Wear water shoes and clothes that dry fast.... More

Recently had the pleasure of doing a waterfall hike with Dawn. Not only did she give us a lot of local history ,humor, Hawaiian culture, but excellent food recommendations for our weeks stay in Maui. Since Dawn was born and raised in Maui she was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire island and all the towns we drove thru. Bonus perk... More

We did the Rainforests and Waterfalls Hike from the Pride of America and were not disappointed. Our guide was Dawn, and she was without a doubt the best guide we had in our 2 weeks in the Islands. She grew up in the area and new all about the area we hiked in. I would say she the most adventurous... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our "Hike Maui" experience! It definitely was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our guide was Jeremy & he was great! His knowledge of Maui that he shared along the way, definitely added to the hike. I told him the best compliment we could give him, was that our time with him was over "too soon".... More

This was our second time taking this tour. The guide, Kahi, was excellent. Being a native Hawaiian, he was extremely knowledgeable about the local plants. Along the way, he would point out plants and animals, identifying those that were edible. Make sure you bring shoes that are prepared to get wet. You will cross a number of streams to get... More

This was the highlight of my trip to Maui! We did the 2.5 mile hike with waterfall tour. Our guide Kate picked us up at our Hotel at 8:30 and gave us a really great detailed stories about Maui and was super knowledgeable. We got to the hike start and were able to see about 4 waterfalls and could jump... More
