My wife and I were on the NCL ship and decided to book a shore excursion on our own. We signed up for the "East Maui Waterfalls and Rain Forest Hike" hoping to work off some calories and explore the island. Kahi was our guide and the word "outstanding" does not say enough about him. He was funny, educational, informative,... More

My husband and I booked this adventure without any expectations and it was a total hit! It was more than we could have asked for. Kahi, our guide, was a native to Hawaiian and knew soooo much about the rainforest! We were able to eat, smell, and swim our way through the forest! We were amazed. Plus, we were allowed... More

Loved our adventure! Kahi was our guide - a native of Maui, we snacked our way to 4 waterfalls through a fruit farm. He showed us medicinal flowers and plants, fed us guava, passionfruit and avocados along the way. Felt like we were on a private tour...highly recommend, would do again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I decided to book a hiking trip to get some physical activity in and to see more of the beautiful island of Maui. We were picked up from our hotel from our tour guide Erik. Our entire ride to the hike Erik was extremely informative about the island of Maui, what was going on locally with Monsanto... More

We booked a ship excursion and Hike Maui was the tour provider. Kate, our guide, did an amazing job. We saw beautiful scenery and walked gorgeous trails. I had some difficulty on some of the trails and Kate was there with a heing hand.

We hiked, and descended into the enormous crater of Maui's Haleakala National Park, via the Sliding Sands Trail. Haleakala's basin is so enormous that some people hike in with a tent and spend days exploring the terrain. However; If you're in the mood for longer hike without an overnight bag, you might want to consider the 11 mile Sliding Sands... More

My husband and I had such a great experience on this tour! The tour guide, Kahi was very friendly and so informative. He took us hiking through the rainforest area then we went to several waterfalls to swim in. Both the rainforest area and the waterfalls were beautiful! So scenic! Word to the wise: You have to bring water-shoes! (Aqua-sock... More

The Short Waterfalls Hike my group of eight went on Thursday, September 11, with Hike Maui, was an experience beyond compare! We were wholly immersed in Maui’s natural wonder – inundated by unique sights and sounds. The restorative energies of the island were palpable as we found ourselves traversing the dense plant-life, heeding the hollow beckoning of the shifting bamboo... More

I have to say as my first guided hike tour, Hike Maui was the best experience that I could ask for. Dawn was the tour guide that my group had. She was the most sweetest, thoughtful, and culturally inclined guide that I could ask for. She showed how and which plants were used in the old Hawaiian days, and it... More

We visited Maui last month. Unlike previous trips, we decided to explore the Island. The Needle was a spectacular experience. After driving for some time and walking up 133 steps to the top, what an awesome view of God's amazing beauty! We will visit there again.
