We usually do the road to Hana but it is a long road that takes the dwhole day. Saw this on Advisor and gave it a try--LOVED IT. Our guide, Kahi, is a 16th generation islander with fantastic sense of pride and knowledge of the vegitation and the land. It was like a hiking food tour as he would jsut... More

My brother and I recently traveled to Maui for the first time. We went on the East Maui Waterfalls and Rain Forest Hike with Hike Maui. Our guide, Glori was awesome. She was very personable, knowledgeable, informative and had a great sense of humor. Glori participated with the entire group and made the tour so much fun. She shared the... More

We did the short hike and it was one of the highlights or our vacation. Though the hike was more like an easy stroll, we had a great time thanks to the quality of our guide Roger. He drove us from the parking lot to the hike area, escorted us every step of the way, then returned us right to... More

We had an incredible time hiking and admiring the surreal beauty of Kahului. Our tour guide, Tony, was wonderful! He was extremely knowledgable and easy going. He really made the experience so pleasant for our group! So glad we were lucky enough to get him as a guide!!!!

I went with a Pathfinder unit (Girl Guides of Canada) of 8 girls between the ages of 13-15 on the Maui Hike. Dawn was our guide and she was excellent. She started our trip out by quizzing the girls on their knowledge of the island and geography while we made our way to Twin Falls. Once at the hike start... More

An absolute must when looking to get off your resort for some outdoor fun. I am a beach bum but you HAVE to go check this out. It was an easy adventurous hike. Ate fruit right off the trees, learned so many amazing things about the island and rainforest. We couldn't have asked for a better guide; Kate was very... More

We have hiked in many parts of the world and very recently in Costa Rica in the rain forest. Although our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the plants and waterfalls, the Twin Falls hike is pretty crowded and not what we were expecting as a rainforest. If you like waterfalls and like swimming in the pools created by... More

Family of 14 hikers ranging in ages 5-71 were all impressed with Dawn's knowledge as a native Hawaiian. She had us taste various plants, flowers and nuts and shared her experiences growing up. Out of all our excursions (Haleakala bike ride, parasailing, Old Lahaina Luau, Wailea beach and Grand Wailea water slides) this half day East Hana Hike from 9:30-2:30... More

Hiked during tropical storm Iselle warning. So park was closed to general public, just Hike Maui hikers. It was raining for most of the hike as Iselle moved in & the water levels were high & raging. However, Aaron, our guide, was fantastic! He was in complete control, very knowledgeable, & reassured us the whole time. We had a blast!... More
