Nice little place with some artifacts and native houses to look at. They do sell some local crafts. The employees were very friendly and informative about their towns history. Worth stopping by if you are staying in Hana. I would not go out of the way for it. More

We were staying across the street so wandered over for a visit. not open on a saturday afternoon, we wandered the grounds for a few minutes. if you have never been to hawaii and are interested in it's history you could learn a few tidbits but this place is in bad repair with broken signage, buildings falling apart etc. your... True, there's not a lot to do in Hana, but don't waste your time going to this tiny museum near Hana Bay. There's just not much here! They want something like $3 to look a a few quilts and old bottles in their one-room "museum". The only thing, in my opinion, of any interest at all is the courthouse next... More
