Sport fishing is misleading. If you want the hardcore fishing, this is not the boat for you. They do high speed trolling and if you think you get to bring the fish in, guess again. You are on the lottery system and if your lucky number is called, then you get to reel in the fish. If your number isn't... More

Wanted to fish while on vacation in Maui and was unsure on who to go with. Ended up with Strike Zone and had a blast. The crew was great. Everyone caught fish. We even caught 2 sport fish, Wahoo and Mahi Mahi. If you want to catch fish, you gotta go Strike Zone for sure.

We went on the group fishing and caught 7 fish between my hubby and myself and the boat caught a mahi mahi and an ono which was divided up to take home! We had a great day on the water, good equipment and lots of assistance if you needed it.

Terrible, terrible terrible. I could have stuck a hook in my fish aquarium and caught more. We were taken to a coral reef which we drifted over and caught these teeny tiny fish you see when snorkelling. I am not a fussy person and usually do not have high expectations for organized tours but this was no more than a... More

The only open party fishing boat on Maui! The only boat that lets you keep your fish! The best fishing boat crew in Maui!

My husband and I first went on a trolling fishing charter which was unsuccessful. He decided bottom fishing may the way to go. I decided to sit this one out, however he came back with pics of him catching 4 fish!! This may have made the entire trip worthwhile for him! The only reason I selected very good instead of... More

My husband and I joined Captain Junior and Carl and others on a 6 hr bottom fishing outing. We had such a good time, caught a lot of fish....all were interesting; most were large and edible. Advise going early in your vacation so you have time to eat your catch. We'll go again when we return.

The Strike Zone is a great value for someone that wants to do some fishing or wanting to take a enjoyable boat ride. Or crew caught 3 Maui and 4 small tuna fish. We chose this boat because you are almost guaranteed to catch something unless you have no idea how to fish. The Crew was on point and always... More

The Capitan and crew of this boat were awesome. We booked the boat as a private trip as this was the only way the kids could go. We had 4 kids under the age of 8 in our group of 10. 15 minutes from harbor, while trolling out we caught our first fish which was a Mahi Mahi. The rest... More

We thought it would be nice to do some bottom as well as sport fishing. But sport fishing is just a tiny chance of actually sport fishing yourself. In 3 hours of sport fishing, we only had 1 bite, which came off after 5 seconds. That means 1 angler out of 16 was allowed to sit in the fighting chair... More
