First time in Hawaii

People need to understand it's not the boats fault if you don't catch anything. You'll take that risk on any charter. That said, we enjoyed our day out. We took the 6 hour... read more

Great fishing trip! Bottom fishing provides more action than normal sport fishing. We caught many blue line snapper and the boat hooked up on a Mahi. Crew prepared fish so we just had to cook back at condo.

My 9 year old grandson's request of what to do in Hawaii was go fishing. I searched several sites for something age appropriate for him and Strike Zone was perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful and funny and nice to him, and then he got to pull in the trolling line and got a grey snapper. It really made our... More

Crew of three Captains took care of 16 of us and were very polite and helpful, especially for me who kept tangling up my reel,.There is a draw for the sport fishing and my husband who didn't even want to go was the first called and caught the largest Mahi Mahi of the year on the last day of the... People need to understand it's not the boats fault if you don't catch anything. You'll take that risk on any charter. That said, we enjoyed our day out. We took the 6 hour excursion. Junior and Jordan were great. Our trolling out caught one mahi mahi and our bottom fishing caught a wide assortment of other fish. They cut up... More

We fish regularly in the northeast so we were eager to give it a try. Diving boats and private charters are plentiful, open boats are few and far between so after searching different areas my father in law and I decided to go on a 6 hour trip. The first day we tried was unavailable due to lack of patrons,... More

Left late came back early. Waited for other passenger. Lunch was very basic sandwich. Area taken to fish was not conducive to catching anything.

I have fished all over the country from the Gulf of Mexico to Kachemak Bay in Alaska and now Hawaii. I have been on many "charters" and the crew on the Strike Zone did a great job of attending to the needs each passenger. This is a "shared" trip I went out on which means that during the travel to... The crew was fun and helpful, bottom fishing was fun. Didn't catch a fish in 4 hours of trolling though. One member of the crew even told us they troll heavily fished areas. They have videos online reeling in Mahi and Ahi left and right, so they know where the fish are, they just don't take you there. Basically 2... More

I had the best time with Strike Zone Sport fishing!! The crew was very engaging and professional and made it a point to get around to all of the other people and get to know us and spend time talking with us while we fished. Overall, my experience was a very memorable one and I would recommend this trip for... More
